Hi guys, I hope this was the right place to stick this. I've been having trouble in groups with the greed/need/pass box not showing up at all. I will see clearly in the chat log that a person has selected whichever option and whatever roll they did, but I never am able to get the option. I have wondered if there was some patch change, but guildies have told me no, it should still work. I've tried looking at addon issues and didn't find any, so I don't know what's going on, but kind of tired of it.

No, it just never comes up at all, under any circumstances.

never ever? not just on profession/class specific items?
i guess it could be an addon problem then?
the only usual times for this to happen is:
if the mob was engaged or died and you or your ghost were not within range of it.
if you do not have a profession for a bop pattern.
as far as i know those are the only times a roll wont appear.

Well, I rechecked the addons and disabled each at a time, that wasn't getting me anywhere either. The idea about not being close enough is out because I've been right beside guildmates on instance runs, and still no dice. Also, this is on any green or higher, not just specific items. I'm scratching my head on this one, I could understand temporary glitches, but for it to never ever work? I also checked my game settings and couldn't find anything in there that could be an obvious cause.

That would be something I never thought of :) I'll get back with you as soon as I can get the first chance to log back in to the game.

Do you use Bongos2? If not list your add-ons.

Hmm, I sure do use Bongos 2, is there something I need to know about? Alan, the temp file idea didn't work either.
Here is my list of addons in case it's important:
Bongos 2
Auctioneer Advanced Suite
TomTom
Cartographer
Lightheaded
Doublewide
TitanPanel3
MobInfo

Open your options for bongos2 and make sure you have it checked to be visibible. Not sure of the exact wording but look through the tabs and on one you can uncheck to hide a bar. Same thing happened to me so I think the default setting for the loot box is to be hidden.
If that doesn't make sense, when I get home I can look on mine and give a step-by-step.

Made perfect sense and fixed it, thank you :)
