70 at last

Well I did it, after 24 days, 4 hours, 16 minutes and 32 seconds of play I got to 70. Got my flying mount but of course I want moreeeeeeeee...

Where is the best place(s) to grind for gold and or drops to get me a few thousand gold? :afro:

For starters try farming elementals in elemental platueau, north east corner of nagrand.

I used to play the AH quite well, but seem to have lost the knack of it, either that or everyone is better than me :)

Also, if you dinged 70 without doing all of the quests in a zone... go do them. They will now pay 10-12g per quest. Depending on how much you instance as you level, you could ding in Nagrand or Blade's Edge. Meaning that all of the quests in Netherstorm and SMV are still there and will pay you gold.

I noticed that, I dinged 70 without even going near SMV and did not do a fair bit of Netherstorm so I am doing all of them now.

I didn't really feel like farming at 70. Though I went to Skettis(Terrokar Forest) and killed the Elementals in the war. They drop Mote of Water frequently and you can transform 10 of them into Primal Water that sells for about 20g on my server. Takes about 20 minutes to farm 10 of them. In about 1hour I would have three [Primal Water] ready to sell. This would be 60 gold per hour basically. I know that there are many other and better ways to make gold but this was the easiest for me.

Try to get yourself some daily quests, like the Shatari Skyguard and Ogrila ones.

While grinding for an Azure Whelpling in Azshara a while back, I was making about 50-80g per hour. At level 70, you're swatting aside the dragonkin there like flies. In addition to 10s apiece, they drop greens and blues regularly, and every now and then you get a whelpling or an epic.

ogrila skyguard/consortium rep/left over quests/water elementals in sketis....best ways outside AH to make money...

primal water can roughly be traded out for primal mana or fire if you are working on your crafts....i know it helped me get my frozen shadoweave mats together so i can make the last piece once i get 70...


azshara is good for the whelpling as well....60-70g an hour back when you were in your 50s...now youre 70, so about 90g an hour if you play your cards right...once you get geared its even higher...but nothing really compares to the AH...i make tons of bags and make a pretty penny off it about 300g profit in a day..and even more if i dont craft any items... plus i go for essence and shards as well netting me a TON of cash...never really look at the cheap gems even on leveling gear.

The spider south of Allarian Stronghold have turned up a good profit for me. They go down fast and drop Nether Web Spider Silk which sells for 50g or more a stack (10 pieces). I was netting 12-18 pieces per hour on my druid and 25ish on my friends mage. They also drop greens/blues alot and a good amount of greys along with Venom Sacs which stack in 5s and sell for 5g or more a stack. The spiders span from the south enterance all along the mountain side then have a large nest at the very bottem of the map. 6k hp with a nature damage poison also an elite spider creeps around but was easy to solo on either my druid or mage. The elite will drop up to 4 spider silk each kill but so far no blues or greens.

How do you make money on consortium rep?

Sorry, played the game for so long but never really spent much time on anything but levelling until now!

Killing mobs, looting Ethereum Prison Keys and handing badges. You can sell the keys if you want or use 'em for more rep.

You don't make money for the rep - you get money for killing countless mobs. They die fast and are close together.

You do get free blue gems every month if you're revered/exalted though.
