Heya, I recently invested in a multiple monitor step-up where I play WoW. I am interested in placing information on both screens. Sorta curious if this is possible... An old guild mate said it was but I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere.

What I'd like to do, is to have the rendered world and buttons on my main monitor. I'd like to have unit frames, chat, map etc. on the other screen, this wouldn't need to render the game world at all to cut back on cpu usage.

Unfortunately I am awaiting my new monitor in the mail, so I can't poke around to see if this is possible myself yet. Lookin' Forward to hearing if this is possible or a pipe dream! thanks!

you can use Multi Monitors -- 1st you have to use your Nvidia or ATI programs to make your Main Desktop span across both monitors ( SPAN not Dual View mode )

then you go into the game and press the ESC key to bring up main game menu and then go into Video settings -- at the very top left it has Screeen Size ( set it for the Size ( of both monitors put together ) ie 3360 x1050 (wide)

then the game will span both monitors

I recomment getting CTMod ( addon ) or any other addon that allows you to change your View Port ( I shrank my Main Playing window for battling etc to 1 monitor and put my chats and my Main Map (via another addon called Metamap ) on the other monitor so that nothing hinders my view of my main screen
