What do you think about this? Also, do you have a different computer (desktop or laptop) you would suggest with good preformance for gaming (new games, not just WoW). My desktop is starting to crap out (4, almost 5 yrs old) and i think i might be getting a new one.
EDIT: Whats your oppinion on apple computers?
Most of that machine is good, the video card however is not. I always suggest building a PC yourself to save cost and get the exact parts you want. I've always built my own machines, every two years I upgrade my game PC and then my everyday PC.
What's your price range? is it around $1100 like that PC is after rebate? Do you need a new monitor?

Everything in that machine is prety good, except the graphics card is a dog. Strikes me as mad that they'd pair a quad core and three gig of ram with a 8400.

actually, i was wondering about the card. Would it be worth it to actually buy a new card with it and replace the 8400 or would i be better off getting something like http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0266542. Also, i'm planning on getting a monitor. If you have any suggestions let me know

I'd suggest to buy the first desktop, and replace it with an 8800 GT, or one of the GTS 8800's. The 8500 sucks almost as much as the 8400, it is no improvement.
8500 isn't much better unfortunately. Especially if you want to play games other than WoW at decent resolutions. For that price you could buy MUCH better parts.

This should work with the first computer right (the one with the 8400)

It should do fine, as long as they haven't cheaped out on the PSU, which is unlikely.
