Deleting readme files, etc

I am wondering if it would be helpful if I were to delete all those readme files, gpl's, changelogs and all that same such from the add on folders will help reduce the total file size of my add ons and help with load times and performance. Would deleting them help?

They don't get loaded in game, so they don't matter. Deleting them will cause no difference in load time.

And if I would do that, I'd press Alt+F7 for "Search", type in "*.txt" and have the results fed to my viewer, select all with Ctrl+A, and Shift+Del to remove them all.

Ah, I forgot. I don't use the barrel of **** that is Winblows Explorer. I stand proud with Total Commander. (^.^)b
