There used to be some ways of communicating by adding spaces between letters as some combinations allways would translate into the same. I used to know some of the easy ones like "me ruff enuff", "lol" etc. This has been nerfed however. I haven't seen it for ages at least.
These days I think any word will get translated into a a random word on a list of words with the same amount of letters. I'm pretty sure any 3 letter word can come out as bur/kek. "Lol" probably stands out as it's the most common word used when encountering the other faction. If words allways came out as the same it would be pretty easy to break the code.

I usually just comunicate via emote.

Course breaking said code is a violation of the ToS and a bannable offense.
See Section 3, Paragraph C, subsection IV (http://www.wow-europe.com/en/legal/termsofuse.html).
I would also like to add that because this is a ToS violation, that's it's a rather touchy subject on these forums here. Any attempt to use these boards to facilitate the violation of the ToS will result in stringent measures being taken.
We thank you for your cooperation.

I'm not trying to break the ToS, but a ?? night elf told my Forsaken "y ou loo se" or some such with odd spacing. I found that interesting.

d a p ee a bb is what the NElf would have typed, another popular one is "d a p ppp b d b jj" which appears to the horde as "You Vile Yeti" although not quite like that.

I much prefer "charge the bastards". I think the opposite faction understands that quite well ;)

/kek

Seems it still ingame then. Think it got old pretty fast, but then again some people still seem to enjoy /lol macros in BGs ;) Words still get translated in more or less the way I described, but it's impossible to use it for communication. One example would be guards of the opposing faction screaming "Guards! Help me" (or something similar) and see it "translated" to the same gibberish every time. Coming from a player on the other hand, that gibberish could mean anything.
Figuring out what some of the more common words are likely to come out as would hardly be breaking the ToS. Nobody can ban you for having that knowledge and it's not possible to use for communication anyway. The reasons "lol" is so easy to spot is because it's probably the only 3 letter word to be used alone.
Poking into how you make the other faction see "y ou loo se" is borderline and using it for exploits by using it to communicate cross-faction is clearly bannable. Of course, we never know what people reading these boards will be using it for, so it's probably not something we should explore further here.

What the hell does /kek mean?
kek = bur = lol ;)
If you are alliance and a horde says lol you will hear "kek". If you are horde and an alliance says lol you will hear "bur". Generally speaking ;)

I've been thinking of getting myself a girly tee made with the word 'kek' on it. And then maybe the horde insignia on one of the sleeves. ^^ I just need to find a really nice font and figure out how expensive such a tee would be.

Price would depend on the quality. Two co-workers once got me a gag t-shirt which had a brief route description from the workplace to Subway. They were worried I'd get lost and not come back.
Still got the t-shirt, but most of the imprint has fallen off since then. Now it's more like a soccer shirt.

Well Cafepress (http://www.cafepress.com/) are probably the best known internet source for making your own designs.

Well, to be honest I'd rather have it printed here in the Netherlands - just in case something goes wrong with my design or something. If it's not a customised tee then it's different, but in this case I wouldn't order it online from the States. :)

Cafepress works, however- and you can leave the design up, in case it's so good that others want one, too :-)
(Used them a few times, from the UK)

Project Azeroth is the most complete stuff I've seen for language to language.
I've heard many times now that "kek" does not equal "lol".
Yes, it's what the alliance sees when lol is said to them but just because it says kek doesn't mean it will show up as lol to them.
I hear "u b u" actually equals "lol", so is it "bur" "kek" or "ubu"?

Crossed wires here DD. If a horde says lol (usually /yell chat) it will appear as "kek". The reverse Alliance to horde will be seen as "bur". Typing "u b u" may indeed turn out as "l o l" or maybe in fact "lol", however im unsure about that, but I doubt it.
Whilst in Southshore playing my horde I once heard in /yell "D I E Y O U B A S T A R D S" from an Alliance player. How the hell they did that I dont know. Nor do I wish too ;)
Edit: People get the thinking that by typing "kek" or "k e k" it will be seen as "lol" by the alliance. That is untrue for definite.

Yeah, we're saying the same thing . . . I guess I wrote it oddly
Yeah that's weird with the Die thing, I haven't seen that one yet.
I do hear /y A N A L G O O pretty much every other day from various Horde members yelling to Alliance - lol.
My wife and I got in a fight with this mage while leveling in Zanger over the weekend, and he basically camped himself lol, he kept coming back for more and attacking so then we got fed up and attacked him a few more times, so he grabs a 70 shammy and of course (we're level 63 at the time) - we get wrecked.
I rez and say / d a p Ee Ff u b u (which is what I heard "you loose lol" is) though I see it maybe be "d a p ee pp bur" but I dunno, I guess it shows the randomness of it all though some have to be right.
In response they both wrote something that showed up to us as "HAHAHA GG"
lol

Heh, yes its rather difficult to explain isnt it? But yes we are pretty much saying the same thing ;)

One me and my brother found out trying random words:
Alliance says: fraggle buzz uiu q
Horde reads: forthis ruff nud e
Totally pointless sentence but we had fun translating it
