Hokey spells & ancient demons are no match for a good rifle at your side

So I play a Warlock for the only reason of having a succubus. It can be rather boring at times. So I'm thinking of being a hunter. I played one as a Dwarf and Nelf before. I remembered how I loved using a gun compared to a bow. Before I become a hunter I need to know two things.

1. Are there any other races that start out with guns besides Dwarves?

2. Can hunters get a murloc as a pet?

1. I believe Taurens get guns as a ranged weapon. You can always use a gun with any hunter, you just need to be trained. (someone correct me if i'm wrong, its been while since a played a hunter.)

2. Not as a combat pet. You can't tame humanoids. I think there are some novelty murloc pets you can get. Not sure how though.

2. No. Murloc is not a wild animal it's a humanoid.

Then who would know how to get a novelty murloc? I'm starting to think I should take back what I said in the title.

Tauren and Dwarves start with guns. But all hunter races can use guns....after training ofc.

Dont even think about trying to get a novelty Murloch.

Because you can't go back in time? I think people who attended G3 could get one. Unless at some point in the future Blizzard offers a novelty Murloc again you are out of luck.

Sorry, I thought you meant there was some flaw with their appearance as novelty pets.

You can buy the code for the murloc pet on ebay for ~US$500.00 last time I checked. Don't seem to be any up right now, so price may be higher these days.
