I am looking to get a laptop so I can play wow with my finance. I am looking at an HP Pavilion dv9740us. Does anyone use this comp? How does it handle the game? Are you able to keep the graphics cranked? Any suggestions would be helpful. thanks

There is a recommended hardware (http://wow.incgamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=391708) thread in the technical forum, I suggest you have a look at it. After a very brief look at the specs I would say, yes it can run wow but don't expect to run it at top graphics settings.

hey just thought I would update. I got the computer and it's running WOW just fine. I have had some choppiness but nothing that hindered anything. I had a character in Iron Forge lastnight and even with all the stuff going on no lag or choppy anything. :) I'm having so much fun! I love it. Finally I have my night elf priest. LOL
