Hello, my name is Dave and I'm a caffeine junkie

It's only 11am and so far I've drank a 24 oz energy drink (Wired 505) and two 16oz mugs of strong coffee. I'll be having another mug of said coffee and a can of coke before 5pm today. When I get home I'll have a further 16 more oz of coke with dinner.

I do not have the shakes.

I've tried several times to kick it...but I can't it's too good to not drink!

We have the most amazing coffee machine at work. It'll grind me some beans and serve me a cup in seconds, and it's just the right temperature to down immediatly.

Sometimes, in the evenings, I smell coffee when I urinate.

Daily average of caffeine for me is about 2-3 Coca Cola Classics, and about 3-5 cups of coffee, oh and I may throw an iced tea in there.

sheesh I tried quiting caffeine, a few major headaches later i am down to 1 every 2 days now if only can i stop my parents from bring chocolate in the house

Judging by the amount of posts that gets moved from here to the Community Forum, I still think somehow a lot of people believe that "Everything not WoW or Blizzard related" simply means that unusual topics about WoW go here and that really off-topic subjects are just not suited for these forums at all.

Actually, I never drank coffee until I moved to Seattle. It's like part of the culture in the Northwest. It probably has something to do with the weather always being gloomy. I know that a nice hot cup of coffee definitely brightened my mood on those days.

I drink two mugs of tea each morning, and water for the rest of the day unless I go work out then I might get me an Isostar. And in weekends I drink BEER !

Same :smiley: Although usually it starts off dark when I get up in the morning, then gets better during the day, unless it's real hot out, in which case I sweat and it stays a bit dark.


I find caffeine is too much for me and I avoid it like cats avoid water. I used to drink buckets of the stuff, used to drink several cans of pepsi when I came home after school and then wonder why I couldn't get to sleep or wake up without feeling like I'd been mugged.

Now if I have any caffeine, even just in chocolate, I get this ENORMOUS buzz and can't get to sleep for anywhere from 5 to 9 hours and feel the need to run around doing things. Then for the next 2 or 3 days I have a big headache that won't go away.

Caffeine is evil. EVIL!

Fact: Did you know that here the companies wanted to be able to put caffeine in all the softdrinks, not just the cola ones. Thank god they didn't. Actually, if they did, then I would be forced to avoid them all together, which would be a good thing. Damn sugar water.

IMO caffeine should be banned. Hey, if they can ban marijuana and other drugs, then why not caffeine. But then again, they can't even ban nicotine.

That's such a pity. This section is always so desolate and bare. It's almost depressing. Is it just me, or does it seem as if people don't want to talk about anything else beside WoW here? Almost like every one's so addicted to all things WoW they can't bare to talk about anything else for too long. Hmm, maybe we should add WoW to the list of banned things. :tongue:

I used to drink a lot of soda, but nowadays it's mostly juice or water. I might have the occasional soda with dinner or something, but that's about it. I just don't have the taste for it anymore.
