With the new 'learnable recipe' feature, there's still only one feature missing from the site that I really desire. Better quest searching.
Now, it'd be really cool if you had a 'recommended quest' filter that you can hit a button when looking at a character and it'll recommend appropriate quests based on race, class, level, profession, and rep. Basically a list of all the quests they CAN do (it wouldn't be able to detect if they've already done them or not). And you can filter out quests that would be 'grey' to the character, or choose to list them, or what.
But that's advanced, plus I already requested it anyway. There's some BASIC quest search features I'd like to see. And basically, I want to see what thottbot does. I hate to bring them up, because I like wowdigger so much better in every way except quest searching. Here's some key points that thottbot does that wowdigger does not:
1 - Remember your sort method, and be able to sort by more than one category. (Like primary sort level, secondary sort category, third sort name). As it is now, if I sort by level, click on a quest to look more closely at it, and then hit 'back' on my browser to view the search results again, they're re-sorted by name and it completely forgot that I sorted by level. Plus, wowdigger only sorts by one category anyway.
2 - Be able to bookmark your search results because the entire 'query' is in the url.
3 - Be able to filter by 'category'. For instance, I only want to see level 9-12 Dun Morogh quests. Right now, I can see either all Dun Morogh quests, or all 9-12 quests. Being able to select more than one category would be great.
4 - Show the rep gained by the quest on the search results page (and not just xp, money, items like wowdigger does). Also include this as a possible filter.
That's pretty much it. The whole 'begins in' 'ends in' 'involves killing in' stuff, I never use anyway and don't need from wowdigger. And wowdigger already does all the other stuff fine already. It's just those 4 things that are missing.
