As to me, I enjoy it at times. Then I enter a WSG on one of my lowbies again, see the rest of the team swarm over midfield with no regard for capping the flag which is being guarded by a level 39 warrior twink that can 1-2 shot everyone in the field... and I wonder why I bother.

PvP is soo much fun! It's such a nice break from leveling and questing. I always look forward to getting into the 8-9 bracket ... I sometimes even race there!

The thing that ruins PvP for me are the players that take it waaaay to seriously or the players that don't care about the team goal. There has to be a balance between communication, team support, and relaxation to make PvP great!

PVP is fun when you put in time to get good at it, otherwise it's very discouraging when all you do is loose.

Yes and No. It all depends on skill, group, etc.

For me PvP has been some of the most fun in game as well as the most frustrating time spent in game.

Overall, I'd have to say yes.

Battlegrounds & Arenas: Yes.
World PvP objectives: Yes.

I like fair competition, not unfair level-imbalanced slaughterfests that waste my time like Ganking offers. No thank-you.

PvP (battlegrounds) is fun, warts and all. If you are a player who takes it seriously, then get into a twink guild, get the top gear, and run with your premade groups. PuG's can be frustrating, but don't insult your teammates for being lowbies or untwinked.

If you don't take it seriously, then have fun and don't whine if/when you lose.

The human factor is what keeps it exciting and fresh. I like the PvE stuff as well but without the randomness of other players I would find it a little boring.

PvP .. CAN be fun. If your gear is good enough that is, and it's the same in the 70s as the 19s.
The thing I like least of PvP is that it's sooo gear (and sometimes class) dependent. The thing I like most of PvP is spontanous teamwork that lets you beat a better geared opponent.

Well I wonder what's the fun of steamrolling as a pre-made if there's nothing to gain as a group of twinks. You have your PvP gear, best enchants .. the other team may as well hide in some corner till it's over.

If this question would have popped up one year ago I would have said no. I tried pvp as a priest, I did not like it. I tried pvp as a lock, I did not like it. Then they made the season 1 arena weapons available through honor, and I decided I really ought to get my mining/cooking/fishing rogue up to 70. Did bg's for the tokens and honor - still hated it. I realised lots of the other pvp rewards were upgrades for her pve gear still, so I continued doing battlegrounds. Then the point came where I actually had enough skill (or good enough gear :P) to kill other people on my own, and all of a sudden I found I was enjoying myself - a lot! I love the sneakiness of the rogue - hearthing back to our base, stealthing immediately after the hearth, and sneaking back to recap our towers... Stealthing my way up, only to find there are two guards... Stay around for a bit, and lo and behold, the warrior jumps off and leaves the hunter to defend on his own... Gank the hunter, recap tower, and rub my hands in glee while cackling madly... It is fun. In one AV game, I managed to recap both the East and the West Frostwolf tower 3 seperate times, and Frostwolf relief hut two times.

Anyways, I was lucky and found the right character to pvp with, and I am loving it ever since. I even started doing arena's (we broke the 1500 barrier again last night :grin:)!

I haven't tried out arenas or BGs yet, but I didn't care for world PvP at all when I was on a PvP server.

I keep thinking about trying out arenas or bgs, but I haven't been able to bring myself to do it.

Yes I love pvping.. the only time i hate it is when idiotic people dont listen to tactics when they know that following them will almost always guarantee a victory when they would rather farm hks.. If they just realised that you would probably still get the same if not more hks/honor defending than just killing...

Aside from that I do love PvP especially when we all work as a team and Ive had that happen a few times in a PuG, not just premades.

To be honest I dont know what all the fuss is about premades.. if people had issues with that they could make there own premades when they wanted to, for a particular bg. Isnt that hard, may take a bit longer than just joining as pug but then your at least certain you would get a win. I love the thrill of the fight when I see every horde around me working as a team and winning as a team.. Excellent!
