hi, im a new player and i have some questions to you guys if you guys dont mind.

what i want to do is, im a hunter and i would like to press for example key 1 and the hunter would do a sequence of atakes instead of me pressingeach button to do three atakes i would just press 1 button and bang it would do the 3 atakes (not on the same time of course).

is there some mod like that?

and can someone explain me what key binding is?

thanks and sorry for the bad english :grin:

its called a macro, there is an option to set them up in the exit menu. do google research on how to set them up and what not. I rarely use them because you never know when you might need to change tactics and you're stuck to using them.

Key bindings can be done through the exit menu.just select the bindings button. Basically you bind a keyboard key to a function. for example your space bar is bound to the jump function.

This is generally impossible.

Yeah, it would be considered automation and that's against Blizzard's TOS. Aside from auto-attack (and some of your pet's abilities), every action you take, every shot, every trap, has to be manually activated.

What you can do, is use a cast sequence macro, so that every time you hit the key bound to that macro, it activates the next action in the sequence, but you still will have to hit the button every time.

try....

/castsequence reset=7 Hunter's Mark, Petattack, Aimed Shot, Concussive Shot, Steady Shot, Serpent Sting, Arcane Shot, Feign Death, Drink, Pee, Repeat

ok... drink, pee and repeat should not be included. you can put in whatever shot you want in whatever order. at my level i would hunters mark, petattack, aimed shot, serpent's sting, auto shot. i only add arcane shot if i know i wont pull aggro with it. usually if i use aimed shot then arcane shot, i will pull the aggro and it takes a while for my pet to get it back. so i save that on a different button. i would also suggest that, even though you have these shots on a macro, i would still hotkey my most used shots. hope that makes sense. i actually have cut out my macro to simply have an aimed shot +pet attack as i find that the others shots are much more useful when i use them on a seperate button.

but here's how to use it. make the macro. put the macro icon to a button, say... #3.

press #3 and you will cast hunters mark, press #3 again and you will cast aimed shot, press #3 again and you will cast concussive shot, etc.

reset=7 means that if you dont press the button again for 7 seconds, you start over with hunters mark instead of the next shot in the sequence.

there are also reset parameters for when you can reset your casting sequence when you change targets, if your target dies, or if you leave combat. i do not know offhand what those are. so for now, you're stuck with reset=7. haha. u can change it to however many seconds you like.

For going out of combat and switching targets, respectively:

reset=combat
reset=target

Do bots work through macros?

no. They can, but most don't.
