DVD installation problems.

Purchased Word Of Warcraft today. Brought it home, went to install it, my dvd drive just spins but doesn't read the disc. Tested other discs just to make sure, they all work perfect. Anyone else had this problem?

Try downloading the client from the web, depending on the right version for your zone. It's hosted on the official sites, even the downloadable trial versions are ok, because the trial clients and the purchased ones are exactly identical, only the accessing account is different.

I did look into that but it was something like 3 gig, that would take me a hell of a long time to download. Easily more than a week on my current broadband speed. I find it puzzling why the my dvd drive just does not read the disc but reads everything else without fail. My laptop does read the disc without any problems but I can't play games on that. I'm going to take the game back on Friday, get a refund and purchase the cd-rom version which I will probably have more luck with.
