Feelin guilty

I was running around hinterlands last night killing horde. i basically ran around the place doing my thing and whenever i would see a horde i'd fight him/her. they'd kill me and i'd kill them. great fun..... until i met a troll hunter who put his pet on passive, waved, and sat down to eat while my spells kept ticking. so i stopped.


what do you do??? he was not running away or fighting back. wtf? so i after 30 seconds of contemplation i decided to kill him anyway, remembering all those other times i would mind my own business, i'd get killed anyway. so at least i had some justification. but why did i feel bad doing it? why why why?

anyone else come across this?

All's fair in PvP. I've been passed by many horde who just waved and went past only to come back and kill me once I started fighting another mob.

Because your morals crossed over into the game world. I used to get a bit of how you're feeling - but that's why I don't camp - unless I'm attacked or camped first. I usually gank and go on my way. One thing to do make yourself feel better is to make sure they see you - take the jumping them part out of it - I'll toss on a hunters mark and wait for them to turn around and see me (if they're under 70) and then fight them - if they're under a certain level I will usually leave them alone when on my main. Then you're not hitting them in the back, which matters to some ppl and not to others. If I'm on a lowbie though, I just attack. They knew what they were doing when they created their toon on a pvp server. :smile:

2 or more, regardless of level or activity: Pansies can't take you one on one. Worthless. Worthy of a shout out to the guild to come and corpse camp them till they hearth/reroll.

i see. im not feeling bad any more. but i know that if the situation comes up again, i will still face this dilema. what would make it easier is if they'd fight back. at least i'll know that im not getting a "free" kill, and i might die from the encounter. that makes pvp all the more fun. iono what i would do if i found someone afk. i also hate getting ganked when afk. but that's another story.

no worries. you'll probably never see me. or... maybe... you see me every day and not know it!!! haha. jk.


his health was basically full. maybe it was his attempt to fill up on health while i run away and then shoot me in the back. we'll never know.

I wouldn't have killed him, but you were completely in your rights doing so. Its a PvP server, so everyone is fair game. He can wave and sit down if he wants, but the only way to not get killed is to transfer to a PvE realm.
