Eye of the Storm is probably my favourite. Warsong Gulch is fun in lower level brackets, but a snoozefest at 70; Arathi Basin I don't like much in any bracket; and Alterac Valley is just a giant honour farm, but one I have a pretty good level of tolerance for. At least in my battlegroup, though, Eye of the Storm seems to turn into a pretty good fight way more frequently than the others (and doesn't tend to start with such a horrible faction imbalance).

I personally like Alterac Valley. Looks are very similar to the dwarf homelands (something about the snow), and there is a number of objectives to accomplish to win. It got streamlined a bit, but there's always hope for things to expand back out again in the future.

the only true PvP is world PvP.

Arathi Basin. The formula of the battleground is easily understood. Everybody knows how to play AB, and it doesn't drag, unlike WSG. The action is fast paced and frantic. However, the morons don't understand defense Horde-side in my previous battlegroup.

Arathi Basin! It's a simple battleground with easy-to-understand objectives.
Also because it's a battleground on my battlegroup where the Horde has this tendency to swarm under and crush all pathetic Alliance pinkskin resistance without much trouble. Then I chortle with glee, rub my hands in the approved intergalactic villain's guild Villainous Greedy Hand Rubbing MethodTM, and then start raking in the honor/marks from a 3 minute battle. It's also fun using Eye of Krillog to see if there are any ninja opportunities. I dunno, I just like AB the most out of all the battlegrounds I played.
Haven't had the opportunity to play Eye of the Storm before though. I should try it sometime: I hear good things about it.
Also, AV has far too long a queue time, and needs to be cut down and rebalanced for maybe 25 players. At least I won the two (recent battles) I managed to get into quickly. Thank goodness for reinforcements limiting play time. The first one I tried was one of those battles: unending. :hanky:

AV is the best because it's the only place you get massive battles. Sometimes it's like a real army with front lines pushing back and forth. You just don't get that anywhere else.

AB for me. I just seem to have more fun there!

On my server, that became less a battle, and more a massive overarching lagfest. That said, I have high hopes for the outdoor pvp zone, hoping to reclaim some of the real fun there was in the tarren mill/southshore fight.

AV with the massive battles, though I am beginning to appreciate "good" WSG fights where both sides are equal and struggle to win (IE, not 5 guys chasing 2 druids, healing themselves through all damage like its nothing).
