Hey everybody. I bet youve all been waiting for info on wotlk, and im giving it to you. Im not trying to impersonate a blizz employe im just telling what i know. Enjoy.(some info may be invalid)
First off pre wrath:
Before wrath there will be 2 patches: 2.4 and 2.5 . Patch 2.4 will be called sunwell plateu and will feature lots of new quests mobs and items. there will be 2 dungeons. 1 of zulaman diffuculty , the other an end game dungeon called sunwell plateu ( possibly magisters terrace). Bosses here will include twin eredar sisters, a feldragon, a dark naaru, kaelthas and finnely kiljaedan (gasp). For the first time ever a new zone will be added via a patch: sunwell isle. here kael thas sunstrider is atempting to rebuild the sunwell in order to summon kiljaedan. there are good guys here aswell though. some members of the aldor and the scryers have banded together and have formed the shattered sun offence ( a neutral faction). led by the shattar and helped by inhabitants of the lower city they have established the settlement of suns reach. players will be able to help them expand this from a meager campsite to a village and eventually a town. this will occur through claiming buildings, and probably building new 1s (though this is not confirmed). im hoping for a flying dragonhawk mount, wich would would be available via exalted rep with the shattered sun offence. Also a warp stalker mount could drop from a boss in sunwell plateu as the first spirit mount.

Next up patch 2.5 . blizz said that this would probably come after wrath, but im not so sure. i think it would be called something along the lines of rise of the scourge,with a similar feel to shadow of the necropolis. it would be cool if dalaran and naxx moved to nothrend in game, perhaps flying over the different zones to show they are leaving. while we are on the subject off dalaran perhaps you'd like to know how to get in (yes it's possible). to enter dalaran you must be a mage. there is a certain spot in the bubble which you can use blink on to enter. prepare to be dissapointed however as theres nothing here. another feature of patch 2.5 might be a woodworking proffesion. it would allow the creation of wooden shields, arrows, and possibly chairs just for fun. ill see what i can give you about the actual x pac later.

your 2.4 info is wrong on many parts. if you would play on the test realm you would know.

your 2.5 info is pure speculation.
