Have any of you had that time when your computer got a virus or you got banned or you were just to poor to pay...etc and your sitting there watching some retarded show or doing your laundry or playing basketball and you think to yourself..."i wonder what my guild is doing right now." and then it hits the crave...your sitting there missing warcraft and your trying to find a way back on but everything seems to be against you. I just want to hear your times like this and if you ever had this feeling?

No. I have good antivirus software, I don't do anything to get banned, and I always pay my bills. Of course, sometimes I don't play for months because I'm busy with RL, which is a good thing. I don't miss it, and I come back when I'm ready.

Like piscene, I don't do anything to get banned (even though it was a bit scary back when the Warden misidentified Linux clients, but fortunately I wasn't personally affected by this), and I always pay my bills as well. In fact, WoW is one of the least expensive bills I have to worry about. I do play in moderation, what with work, school, church, family, etc, etc, etc. getting in the way (and not necessarily in that order), I might get an hour here or there to play. I also learned from previous MMO experience that focusing too much time on the game, all the time, burns me out. With WoW, I make sure it isn't everything I do.... that way I can keep playing and enjoying myself in the game. That said, real life always takes priority over WoW for me.

Nope, I don't get viruses in my PC or get banned once because I follow the rules.

And I don't really crave WoW because Im willing to stop playing it for every 9 months a year so that I can continue my studies.

I just can't wait, only 2 months more till semester break...*spasm*
I want my griffin :O

I find WoW most addicting when I'm already playing it. Meaning, it's hard to stop once I start. But if I don't start then I don't feel like I have to play, my mind is elsewhere.

This has happened to me numerous ammounts of times. The worst time was probably when my old account got banned for life, that left a pretty bad feeling my stomach.

nope not yet! but i've only played for about.... 4 months. so it doesnt really count i guess? i have other pc games if my connection is shot, and if my computer has a virus and needs to be fixed, i'll be on my ps2 or 360.

LOL no I was just putting out scenerios, it could be that you were on vacation etc...i just want to know if you've ever had this feeling. Yea I've been off wow for a year and i miss it so much...i'm working to get a computer that could run wow smoothly i just need about $200 more so i'm getting there. I've always paid my bills and i've never been banned but I moved from Vegas to Boise and my bro took the damn computer lol so i've been craving lately.

Strangely enough, I don't find WoW addictive in the same way as other games I've played. Diablo2 was a real drug and a lot of console games have been to me as well. WoW on the other hand is more about the community (guild) if I miss it, but I don't have any problems being away for a week and actually rarely think about it when I'm not playing unless I'm bored.

There's really only two major things that make me crave....#1 is the fact that i love my guild and i just love to help everyone in it i've done that as long as i can remember. #2 is the fact that i'm missing all the raids and trailing more and more behind.

thats what instant credit with zero financing is for. but make sure you have zero financing, and get about six months to pay. i'd still save up, and on that last month of 0% interest, pay the whole thing off. that takes planning, but well its up to you.

anyway, im addicted to the AH. actually i just like getting mail and seeing "Auction Successful". its great. making money is a wonderful experience in the game, albiet ingame money, its still something. i like the feeling of having a large virtual bank account. also, skilling up. yea, i dont buy everything from the AH to skill up. if there are ingredients that i need and cannot get to, i might go to the AH, but for the most part, i gather what i need and make what i need to make to skill up, leatherworking/tailoring. i just like the thrill of progressing in many ways in this game. its not just leveling.

Being away from home and my pc with WoW account on it is driving me crazy. However, it's the break I need from WoW. I'm sure when I get a free day to sit and do nothing it will be the first thing and last thing I do that day.
