Need to create an alliance bank alt - which race is closest to a city?

Any of the alliance start out closer to a main city for an AH/Bank alt?

I use humans. Easy stretch to run and the AH and bank are pretty close to eachother. Just use the tram if you like IF better.

gnomes run the fastest and tauren the slowest, but they cover the same distance anyways :)

My bank alts are all gnomes. It's cos I find IF easiest to use - bank to AH to bank to mailbox. The SW bank is all loopy.

well distance wise, SW is closest to the starting area. for IF, you have to go through a cave full of troggs. and the distance from the starting area to Darnassus is a long, but relatively safe walk.

from Northshire (i think) take the road southwest, then once you hit Goldshire, take the road north west. you will make a big V. you can also cut across, but the wolves and the defias might not like you too much.

Human Female Warriors all the way.

More likely to survive the defias shortcut to Stormwind.

As all clothes are worthless, delete them all, except for the boots (they are hot), and then you have a good mule.

OR, I make a human warrior, and I give him a Tux.

BTW, if you keep to the north most ridge between Northshire and SW, you won't get aggro. If you do, you can survive like 1 more hit as a warrior.

Ironforge seems like a lagfest on my server so I keep my bank alt away from there to do quick transcantions. However I do admit that IF is a nice place to reside in.

I may make another bank alt which would reside in IF since my 1st is overflowing with clothes, ores, bars and other valuable junk

If your server's bad for goldspam or it really winds you up keep your bank alt in Darnassus or the Exodar.

Edit: but yes, for speed of getting to the nearest city, definitely human; plus they look best :)
