We all know about how CC lasts a maximum of 10 seconds in pvp, and how diminishing returns affects this, but in practice, it's not all that helpful.
Stuns need to be in effect for a maximum of 3 seconds, WITH diminishing returns. Seriously, these things are too strong, and are thrown about like confetti. Feral druids will whine about bash and pounce, but they need to be balanced in other areas which will TRULY help make them viable in arena.
Fear is fine as it is, though a small nerf in duration to 8 seconds max might free up some space for classes who are completely overcome by this ability. However, fear should not cause the victim to run around as fast as they do. It's far too much to not only be feared for 10 seconds, but then also have to run back while the warlock is casting his favourite spell.
Immobilize effects should last a maximum of 3 seconds.
Disorient effects should last a maximum of 2 seconds.
All CC effects which 100% break on damage should remain as they are, however. These include abilities like Gouge and Repentance.
