Question about AV and premades in 2.4

What's the point of hiding the realms names? Is this to prevent pre-mades?

It is to prevent people from running at the sight of one.

Also, at least for AV, it seems people can only join it in clumps of 5 - not as a full 40 man raid.

EDIT: It also removes a pychological advantage that premades have - making it a more balanced contest (IE, 5 people don't give up before it even starts because they see a premade).

I think it is a bug tbh, it probably has to do with the arena tournament.
