View Full Version : My WOW suggestions

First off, the classes should be more unique!

Take for example the Shaman! The Shaman is an ideal unite for the Orcs and Dranei, but yet both trolls and Tauren have him. Why?

In my personal opinion trolls don't need Shamans since they already have priests! It gives them unfair diversity advantage compared to the Orcs! And as for the Tauren, well they of course have the powerfull druids! So i don't see basicly any reason why they should have a Shaman class. This class among the Horde should only be left for the Ocrs, and among the Alliance the Dranei!

Another thing wich deeply annoice me is Blizzards desperate attempts to "ballance" the classes! Like that my Shaman can turn to a Ghost wulf, but it's only usefull outdoors, wich means it gives me 0% speed advantage in dungeons like the Whaling caverns for example. And the speed advantage even in the Barrens is only 40 and not 50%!?

Personally, i'd rather have no ghost wulf at all, if this is the "advantage" i get! You simply can't compare that to a druid, who can turn into a bear/puma/lion WHEN EVER HE WANT'S with the form also working indoors as well!

Amongs the Mages i also noticed that a powerfull frost mage can summon a frost elemental for her for 45 seconds. Why not a full minute:shocked:? And why can't firemages similarly summon a dragon to fight for them as well:cry:?

Blizzard is trying too hard to "ballance" the classes! For example with humans having no hunters! What the f**** is up with that? Not enough intelligence and skill as a race:shocked:!? Is Blizzard trying to give an advantage to the dwarfs? Trying to "ballance it out" and give then someting "unique"

And then there are the Paladin! I understand that Paladin are nice ballancers against the powerfull Shamans and vital in the upcoming Wrath of the Lich King sequal. However, where does this exactly leave human warriors? I mean, if the Paladin can wear the same armour as they can, use swords and even HEAL, then what the f**** do you then need a Warrior class for:embarassed:?

And then another thing; The alliance vs he Horde!

How come my Orc Shaman can perfectly well understand what a ZOMBIE is "saying" but not when a human speaks to him? And don't give me that;"Humans aren't supposed to understand Orcs!" It's perfectly normal for us in real life to learn different languages, so theres no reason why the Alliance and the Horde can't understand each other! And theres also no reason why they shoulnd't be allowed to form groups. We bump into each other in the same dungeons all the time anyway! And imagine yourself in level 70 bumping into another same level Orc warrior or Tauren druid in Nothernland, while your out there grinding ZOMBIES! What are you guys gonna do? Stab each other in the back?

These simple reforms would add more dept and credibility into the game. I'm also against the so called "hunters advantage" where he gets to summon his pet back even after it's dead, or make it "go away" when ever he wan't to and then just whistle it back again! Yeah i know i know! Warlocks can do it too, but they should be allowed to do it since that's what Warlocks do! Hunters pets should instead be allowed to become stronger then Warlock demons with 50% more health. But if your pet is dead, then his DEAD! You can't just "summon" it back after a couple of minutes(except in the World of Warcraft of course:afro:!) They also shoulnd't be allowed to just "whistle" it out of somewhere. It takes away "creribility"

These are basicly some of my reforms. I also think that WOW should keep a little break from patches, but untill then publish an Emerald Dream expansion(basicly a couple of months after the Lich King)wich would be an "alternative world" from all of Azeroth(including Northernland but not Outland)The plot could be like everybody celebrating the fall of the Lich King, when suddenly a mysterios i'llnes sweeps through the land. First it hits the druids, falling them to eternal sleep so they can't wake up, but eventually starts effecting everyone else in Azeroth. The druids are no longer able to return from the Emerald Dream, and eventually this also starts affecting everyone else. Why the battle agains the Lich King raged, the "Nightmare" in the Emerlald dream had become too powerfull for Ysera to handle. In desperation she opens up the doors of the Emerald Dream world wide open for a group of chosen heroes(basicly the ones who defeated the Lich King, so you must be the level 80 in order to enter)They must learn to live and battle in the strange Emerald Dream Dimension, wich is basicly a parallel universe of Azerorth greatly twisted by the Nightmare created by the "old gods" The player will meet an entirely new different world, unaffected by the corruption of the Burning Legion and there demons, but driven insane by humanities own perversions! This will more them ever stretch the imagination of Blizzards programmes to there limits! A whole WORLD equal to Azeroth in size, while twice as bizarre, with the Nightmare being at the center of it all! A wondering paralell black hole of twisted dreams, fantasies and perversions, where at the center the player finally meets his greatest demons. The ultimate WOW expansion with the possibility of leveling up to 100!

Shamans in WoW are not Shamans in Lore.

WoW Shaman = Shaman + Witch Doctor + Far Seer

which is why Trolls can play them.

Ghost Wolf can be used to run Flag in EoTS and WSG. if Blizzard made it too fast, then it would be greatly OP in PvP.

Fire mages can summon a Dragon, but it's not the way people may think of as a pet.

Factions can Speak with each other to reduce Account banning. think of how much flameing would go on if we could chat between Horde and Alliance. ever play Guild Wars?

no Lich King would be in the Emerald Dreams. I believe the Emerald Dreams would most likely have something to do with battling the Elementals of the Elemental Planes

Blizzard is trying too hard to "balance" the classes! For example with humans having no hunters! What the f**** is up with that? Not enough intelligence and skill as a race!? Is Blizzard trying to give an advantage to the dwarfs? Trying to "ballance it out" and give then someting "unique"

Humans can be lots of classes, but WoW doesnt allow that Playable Race to play a class if it's only used by a minority of the members of that race. for example.
Gnome Necromancer. they exist but Most Gnomes dont believe in religion.

honestly, if all races are able to play all classes... i really wouldnt give a dam about it. we can finally be the blood elf druids that we so proclaim to be.

Wall of badly-spelled text hits you for 120000 (crushing). The answers to all of the above are relatively self-evident. The OP isn't really making a "suggestion" as such.

And another thing;what's with the droppings? How can a lion drop me sword, and a Murlock, NOT drop me any Murlock skin or eyebals? What's up with that?

elsegundo

Ow..spelling...eyes...bleeding. Sigh.

From the top. The tauren and trolls have shamans because the orcs taught them to be shamans. The orcs wanted more shamans. Blame the orcs. The race that confuses me on the why they have shamans are the draenei. I realize that blizzard was trying desperately to give the alliance shamans, but saying their great, Light ridden race learned it from their broken counterparts, who have been broken very, very recently is a little ???? But whatever. Shrug.

Ghost wolf is a godsend in lower leveling and pvp. Laugh as you bound past all those who are still WALKING at lvl 35. Laugh as you snag the flag in wsg and bolt past all those walking ppl. You're not a druid. Druids can't self ressurect. They don't throw down fire elementals or earth elementals.

Mages elementals. Look above. Shamans get fire elementals. Resto shamans get earth elementals. They last a freaking long time and can be HEALED.

Languages: The Logical..and unplayable..view. Alliance speaks Common. Horde speaks Orcish. How it would really be
1. Humans. Speak Common. woot
2. Night elves. Speak Darnassian. Some would speak Common, the humans and night elves have been working together for awhile.
3. Gnomes. Don't know what they speak. Don't really care. Have been in contact with humans for a long time. If all else fails...dowitchit gadget which translates. Dwarves...also in contact with humans a long time.
5. Draenei. Logically would speak...draenei, and appallingly, Orcish. The Orcs on Draenor were their trading partners for centuries. Entirely less likely to speak Common, as the human presence in Outlands is spotty and only 20 years old. So new race...shouldn't be able to communicate well at all

1. Orcs. Speak Orcish. woot.
2. Blood Elves. Speak Thalassian. Should speak Common as well, being a very recent offshoot of High Elves, an Alliance race. Have utterly no reason to speak Orcish. See...Draenei listing above.
3. Trolls. Have been in contact with the orcs awhile, but remember, Orcs have only been on Azeroth for a couple of decades.
4. Tauren. Speak...Taurahe. Some would speak Orcish, but not that many.
5. Undead. speak Gutterspeak. so let me get this straight. They died...six or so years ago to the plague. Magically woke up with a whole new language, lost their own language, and picked up orcish along the way.

While truly, totally logical the above string would make the game impossible to play.

honestly, if all races are able to play all classes... i really wouldnt give a dam about it. we can finally be the blood elf druids that we so proclaim to be.

That's something I really agree with. I'd like to see all classes available to all races. I know, I know, the Lore...... But the fact is that if you want a Gnome, say, your choices are limited to four. Why not a Gnome Hunter? I'd really like to have a Gnome Priest or Druid. And please don't tell me they're comic characters not worthy of that sort of thing - Taurens are hardly icons of beauty nor are the Undead.
