This is a very interesting article, that makes some good points:

I totally agree with the idea of more class-specific quests to teach skill use. the possibilities of teaching the rudiments of chain trapping, clever misdirection, use of tanking skills, or even the concept of group dynamics and reigning in your aggro would be very handy. It could make the game less intimidating for players who find these things to be beyond them, and less frustrating for those who group with them..

Intresting idea, i know a few people that could benefit from this.

They did this rather well in Guild Wars: Factions. It is a good idea and class specific quests are always a lot of fun. They should just make one of them a class specific mount as well ;)

I think one of the problems is that for most if not all classes, the spec/skills you use while leveling are not necessarily the the same you use when you hit end game. We spend 70 levels mastering one set of skills only to realize that we need to suddenly change. Some people adjust to this faster then others.

Yar- completely on board with this idea.

Im my guild we set a night aside for training - We hit easier dungeons and give the lower levels tips. We also run pressure testing where we deliberatly overpull or ban healing for 10 minutes - simulating that ther healers have died.

Doesnt half make a difference when it happens for real!
