What's with the netherwing quests?

So I got my epic flying mount today, and started the netherwing quests (neutral and up) I've been killing things and mining for around 2 hours now, and I've only completed 1 quest, yes, the gathering one. What's up with this? Am I doing something wrong, I dont get it, and I'm getting frustrated. At the moment all my quests are dailies, and I don't see how I can continue, can someone help me please? What's the whole process like?

For Netherwing, you unlock more quests when you get higher rep. In the beginning you can only do a few: gathering, killing the orcs flying around north of Netherwing Ledge for relics, and killing helboars and diemedradons for fel glands that you use to kill peons in Netherwing Ledge. You can also spot eggs in the Netherwing Ledge area and turn them in for some rep.

Just accept all quests in there, read what quest log tells you to do and complete them all. It doesnt take long to become friendly and then you get more quests opened up.

A question about the eggs, how often do they spawn? I've got the quest but have yet to see one, I got one out of a vein when mining but that's it. What do they look like, so I know what to look for.

The eggs look like the eggs at the netherdrakes in Blade's edge and Netherstorm. They have tons of spawn locations both in the Dragonmaw fortress, Netherwing Ledge and on the outer islands. Hunting eggs is the fastest way of getting your rep up if you can play at odd hours.

I don't know the exact respawn rate of the eggs, but after having picked all the eggs I can find I usually don't find any new ones for about an hour. They can respawn at any of the other locations. I've seen as much as 6 up at the same time.

The Netherwing crystals take ages to farm, just cash them in when you have enough, don't try to farm them. And just skip A slow death alltogether. The glands have a crap droprate, the camps can bug out and you only get 250 rep anyway.

There are two "hidden" quests. Murkblood escape plans (requires honored) you can find in the Sludge-covered Objects that drop from the slimes in the cave and the Partially Digested Hand that drops from Arvoar the Rapacious (can be done at neutral). You'll want to bring a friend or two for the last one.

The quests at neutral were the hardest IMHO, poisoning, shooting down transporters, it just sucked. Gets better at friendly and when you can enter the mines (where you might wanna look for your ores too)

They're dark...eggshaped, with hooked spikey things... about a foot tall.

I know it sounds crazy, but I only farmed the ones that were outside. I could see alot of nodes under the ground, but I could never find an entrance to a dungeon/cave of some sort, so I left them. My server isn't crowded but there were a hell of alot of people around, probably doing the same as I. And that lead me to a 2 hour mining run :)

It is a proper mine entrance (actually 2) at a ledge to the south IIRC with some 4 armed female demon (friendly to you) guarding it. At honored she gives a daily for 350 rep and 18 gold.

Wow nice, ill have a look later, as I didn't complete the crystals quest.
I need 1500 rep to friendly, can't wait to be honest. Hope thing will speed up...
