Hi,
I've not played WoW for half a year now, but playing the game a little again now. Want to take advantage of the rested, so I will only be playing when that is almost full.
I have a few questions:
1) 1½ level of rested is max, true?
2) How long does it take (in an inn) to get fully rested as lvl 60? And is it the same time for every level?
Thank you in advance :)

same rate for every level. one bubble every 8 hours i think. so if thats the case, then 8 hours/bubble * 30 bubbles = 240 hours.
240 hours * 24 hours/day = 10 days.
thats only if my assumption is true that its 1 bubble every 8 hours, and 1 and 1/2 levels is the max rested exp you can accrue.

1 bubble every 8 hours is accurate.
However, most people do realize you gain rested xp even if not logged out in an inn or city, it just comes very very slowly and i'm not sure of the rate.

You are correct on everything, with the possible exception of the number of bubbles in a level.
I believe there are 20 bubbles in a level. Thus, you get 5% of a level in rested XP per 8 hours.
I do not have the game up, so I can't count to make sure....

Yes, it is 20 bubbles a level, so yes, 5% for every bubble of rest.
Everything is accurate in the above posts.

So it is:
8 x 20 = 160 hours.
160 / 24 = 6 2/3 days for fully rested.
That's a week. Okay, a little longer than I though, but then again, I might not be doing 1½ levels each time I play, so it'll be fine. And quest xp doesn't count, true? So maybe I can login every 3-4 days and play a level or so and it will be fine :)

Not quite.
You rest 4 days *15% per day = 60% of a level in 4 days.
But you are correct that quest xp is extra. But, it also isn't doubled when you turn in a quest while rested.
As for full rest = 1.5 levels, you need 160 hours *1.5 = 240 hours. (As elsegundo said).
Mea culpa for me misreading elsegundo's post the first time or two. ;)

quest xp does not count, that is what makes leveling on rest so powerful post 2.3

lol yea so to clarify..
8 hours/ 1 bubble
20 bubbles for 1 level
full rest exp max at 1.5 levels so...
20 bubblese x 1.5 = 30 bubbles.
30 bubbles x 8 hours/bubble = 240 hours (cancel out the bubbles)
and as rgirty has said, quest bonus is added to the rest exp (but doesnt count as rest experience) so essentially, you're getting bonus exp from everything you kill. this can drag your rest bonus beyond 2 levels if you continually turn in quests.

Ah, yeah, thank you all. I forgot the 20 bubles was for only one level :) So... Still takes quite some time. Anyways, "luckily" levels at lvl 60-70 are huge in XP requirement, so I think it will fit well... Or fine at least.

I managed to level from about lv40-70, always in rest. I usually wouldnt play for a few days, and then burn through an entire level in one day. My rested just never ran out.
When Lich King comes out, i probably wont even play for the first 10 days after i buy it, just to get rest. I only enjoy playing with rested now lol

I think I went 65-70 totally in rested.

That's the great thing about having alts.. you just burn away the rested bonus of one, while the other builds it up, and then switch. ^^

True, Marlous, I just like to dedicate myself to one :)
