...with no revive option. Any commands that will get me out of this bind? Am heading out now and when I get home tonight I don't want to sit there for 5 hours waiting for a GM :(

Where are you in terms of cities? Each city has a graveyard where you can spirit res.

Also, is your body marked on the map? If so, you can walk to it and res there.

All that happens is you get ported back at the original graveyard that you appeared at when you died, this move was to stop people from misusing the death existence as a transportation mode.

no no i think you guys arent understanding him. he logged in dead. like... dead but in full color and his body is just lying there with no option to go to the nearest spirit healer.

log out, then log back in and he should be in spirit form.

Well, you are reading much more into it than what he said as well....He certainly didn't provide any of the details you provide.

I think so too. I had that 2 days ago. I came back dead from the lag or server down and I must have been killed by the mob I was fighting. I saw my corpse instead of a ghost in the GY. I log out and log back in – problem resolved.

If logging doesnt help (happened to me a lot a while ago, logging did nothing), you can wait between 5 and 10 mins and you will automatically release. I ticketed a gm asking if there's any way to force a release, and got mailed a response suggesting addons were at fault. So you could try disabling them as a last resort.

blizzard seem to blame addons for 99% of all problems in the game. it seems to me the standard gm response is remove addons and delete wtf folder

This has happened to me. There's a console command to re-release your spirit but for the life of me I can't remember what it is - useless me!!!

I had the same problem on a night where I was DCed over 20 times in the span of a half hour. I had to auto-unstuck and, when I cam back after my Nth DC, was finally at the spirit healer. So weird.
