Client hasn't worked since 2.4

I've updated the wowdigger java client. I've uninstalled and deleted the directory. No matter what I do, my game will not load up if I have the wowdigger mod enabled in-game. I get the character selection screen, I choose a character, and the game will attempt to load up normally but never go past the loading screen.

Anyone else have this issue?

yep same thing happening here since the day 2.4 hit, aparently not many ppl have this or simply dont post here, otherwise i would guess there would have been a fix by now

You need to redownload the client if you are having this issue, it should resolve the problems.

still no go, even after a complete un-/re-install

on the loading screen the bar fills up then wow just freezes and pretty much have to alt-f4 to close it down, ruling out a mod conflict as this happens with only wowdigger profiler enabled as well

Yes I too have tried reinstalling but the game never finishes loading. I have bring up the Windows Task Manager and kill WoW by hand.

oh i'm glad i found this thread. i just downloaded the client like 10 minutes ago and have this same problem. i haven't had the client on my pc in quite sometime and wanted to try out the outfitter/talent thingy, but my characters are way outdated. so i loaded it up and got it installed but it freezes as it's trying to load a character. bar fills up and then nothing. had to hard restart my pc once already cause of how it froze. but then i removed the folder and it works fine again. but i wanted to try out the outfitter/talent thingy :cry:

yeah this just doesnt seem to get any attention, its been broke for quite a few months without a fix now :(

well they may just not know what is causing it. it's not like we're getting any error messages to give them any hint. i wish i was. more than likely it's some other addon we have installed. but i know i have many installed, so i have no idea of knowing which it could be.

its no addon conflict as i posted long ago up top, it happens with only the profiler enabled/installed

ok so the strange thing, i can use the client just fine on my laptop. no freezing or anything. so i wonder what's the difference between my laptop and desktop (where it doesn't work)
