yeah...and what's with referring to a 60 mage as a "low level alt"? That's just a mild week's grinding to 70. Talk about lazy.

It isn't QQ. It is the rules of the forum. Not to mention it violates Blizzard's EULA/ToU. You are a nitwit and a complete fool for posting such drivel on this forum, when it is blatantly a violation.
How dumb would someone have to be to actually do this??

I think the OP's grasp of English grammar can help figure that one out Khab.
I wonder if this is the same spyderxombie that a google search of that name brings up. The guy who had problems playing WoW on a Dell...

Special. You really are endearing yourself here. You also might want to look into getting some professional help about your temper.
That is such a unique name... I bet I can guess your age, and where you're from, with a unique name like that.

Well, this is a forum for people who know WoW, and talk about WoW, so it kind of makes sense. Oh, wait, you're young little Virginian brain probably can't wrap itself around that.
I've grown bored with this. Besides, soon this thread will be deleted, and it will all just be a forgotten memory...

Waste of time really, save the aggrevation. That guy gets banned and maybe he finds a moron on another forum. Or rather more hopefully somebody screws him over.
I think I'd like that....now where are the mods?

Here they are, at least one of them.
Anyway, I hardly think this ban is a surprise, but I do wonder why you guys even bother replying to that idiot. Report him and move on, you are basically making a sucky thread even suckier.

If it's been forgotten is it still a memory? Is this an oxymoron? What is the sound of one hand clapping?

No, you can have a memory and then forget it.
Now, if you can think of the forgotten memory, maybe :)

I wonder why the mods close threads having one mention of <thotXXXX, that unmentionable site> very quickly, but leave this one alone, even after posting in it.....heh
At least the thotXXXX posts don't violate the game TOS.....while this one advocates violations...

Depends on the Mod doing the locking/banning.
Me? I would've moved this thread to the moderator forum and just banned the guy.
Then again, I've been a bit cranky as of late, so maybe that's also playing a roll.
Why do you move threads to the moderator forums? To have a good laugh or is deleting of entire threads not viable?

I'd say sometimes to keep a track record of problem posts, in case the person comes back under a different name and posts the same kind of trash.

Bit of both.. Also to provide info to the rest of the mod-team about this or that goldselling etc etc site is fairly active on the forums, in which case, we can petition the Admins to include them on the banned url list.
Meaning that when they try to post their url all they get is *****
Which tends to lead to some frustration with them, which we folks in green find amusing. Or at the very least.. I find it amusing.. Then again, I can be a tad mean at times, so maybe that's it.

Well, yeah. But you haven't been posting complete utter nonsense in every post you ever did on this forum. I was just having fun running search engines on that very unique name of his, and kept finding results for a lonely guy in Virginia who was signing up for various online dating sites... Along with someone having difficulty getting WoW to work right on his Dell laptop (and PC), and other silly things.

;)Err, as far as I know no one ever has been banned merely for mentioning you-know-what, while this guy received a ban instantly. So I wonder what the problem is, really.
And for what it's worth, I never close post that mention the site, I just edit out the links, and in most cases even take the effort to replace them by links that are allowed. And if you look around a bit, you'll notice most of us folks in green, if not all, apply that principle.
Maybe err, I don't know, I am just human and simply forgot closing it after posting my end remark?
But if it makes you happy... *clank*
