Fasted Way to Get to 40

Hey guys, I'm new here.

I have a 37 Night Elf Hunter, and want to get him to 40 as soon as possible. All my quests are red, in STV/Arathi (I have a few left in Arathi that are yellow). What is a good place to quest at the 37 area? Or is a partner required at this point in the game?

Probably best choice if you haven't been yet is Dustwallow Marsh. Take the boat from Menethil Harbour in the Wetlands to Theramore. They've recently revamped Dustwallow, and there's plenty of quests there now, with pretty decent rewards too.

There's also Desolace if you haven't been yet, and you're just at the right level for the Badlands too.

Get the mod "Recommended Zone"

Makes leveling much easier as you know where in the world to go that is similar level to you (instances included).

"Lightheaded" and "Cartographer" are also great since they make questing painless.

Go to zones that start at 35 and doo all the quests there. Yes the quests will seem a little too easy but they will go fast and the exp will come even faster. You will be 40 before you know it.

Dustwallow Marsh is a much bigger quest hub than it used to be. Lots and lots of quests in your range.

You could also try Desolace.

If you also want to have fun, I'd say Dustwallow over Desolace. Dustwallow has new style quests which are far more entertaining (and at times heartwarming). Some real gems there.
Desolace is pretty boring, and depressing. However probably worth a look as it will give you a first taste of Reputation choices.

If you wanted to knock out some easy quests and possibly get a level or two. go to Hillsbrand Foothills. Very easy quests, easy to knock off.

Alright so I got to level 42 now. I'm in Tanaris currently, but most of the quests are orange/red for me, a bit too hard to do solo (not to mention the constant ganking by horde). I have just one quest left in STV, which is a level 50 quest. So I'm not gonna bother doing that one until later. Is there another place that I can do quests at at my level, that are still yellowish/good for my level?

run over to the coast and you will find Steamwedle port. there's a bunch of quests there. Also, you'll be running back between Feralas and the Hinterlands. Hinterlands is easy to find. In hillsbrad the path is right behind Durnhold Keep. You'll know where to go when you see Griffons flying close to the ground.
