So I've been playing WoW for what, 2 years now?
And what have I achieved..A 64 Female Tauren Druid. A freakin' female cow.
God I've wasted so many hours on nothing.

Anyway I need help to wich class to pick. Race doesnt really matter to me..Thats another problem..I got friends on both side (God I hat that faction system in wow)

So, what I would like is a easier leveler..No downtime..And survia..sur..wait..Survivability. Also, I'd like it to be pretty decent for PvP and feared.
I know most people would say, why, lyrical, why dont you go with Hunters or Warlocks? Their made for PvE.
Well problem is that their to easy..I mean, Hunter..Its pew pew, enrage, pew pew, loot. Warlock..its dot dot dot, loot.
Nothing exciting about it.

So please. Heed my help.

A class I would of recommended would of been feral druid, no downtime, good survival, fast leveller and also good in pvp, but you have already said you feel that you’ve wasted time going down that route.

I can’t really recommend any others as I only have experience with Hunter, Druid and Mage. (but I do love my mage)

Since you've slamed the two obvious choices for easy leveling and good for pvp I donno what to say. I will suggest a shammy or rogue. both are decent for pve and both are good for pvp. With a rogue all you need to do is bandage and move on to the next mob and in pvp you can annoy the hell outta ppl with stunlock and very quick burst damage. Or if the going gets tough, vanish and heal up.

TBH if your playing wow for 2 years and got a tauren druid to 64 and feel its a waste of time, stop playing games. simple as that

Definitely a rogue: No downtime once you learn First aid and bandage instead of eating. Good in PvE and PvP (I have no idea what class is feared. I mean..I feared Paladins because they were so unkillable...but so a are resto shamans^^)

Survivability skills with evasion, sprint, vanish, gouge, blind.

But honestly...my druid has zero downtime, first class where I don't even bother taking food along.

Warlock and hunter are both feared and have close to no downtime..your choice NOT to take the classes that offer what you want.

Shammy, Mage, Paladin...both with downtime, at least until around 41 for the shaman, who I found frustrating until then but absolutely ace afterwards.

Maybe a fury warrior, DWing, as he could also be a decent tank with a little respecc from time to time...but personally I find a rogue or DW enhancement shaman have more UMPFFF

I say make a Paladin.
only problem with Paladins--

their Main Combat system doesnt change(after getting consecration) till you get 31 point talents and 41 point talents.

also Gearign up a Paladin to Tank end game is harder then both Warriors and Druid.

AoE tanking is Fun, but dont expect many group invites as Ret, so I suggest having lots of Gold so you can respec offten

You want excitement? Do a Survival hunter. I guarantee you will be always on your toes.

What's wrong with female cows? I have a 70 female Tauren hunter and I really like her.

And if you think warlocks are just about dot dot dot, you've never played one and have no idea what you're talking about.

I second Xlorep about the Surv. Hunter, very fun and challenging. Or go BE rogue. Cool to look at (especially when compared to staring at a udders swaying back and forth for two years!), good starting area, no downtime. Should note that both hunter and rogue have a hard time getting into guilds.

There's a lot more to hunters and warlocks than what you think. For the latter, I remember reading on Wiki that they are among the "busiest" of PvE classes.

Druid is a complex class and one that probably takes a good deal more to master than most others. Depending on the situation, your gear, and your spec, you can be an awesome tank, damage dealer, or healer. Lots of decisions to make.

The only class I've taken to 70 is my mage, and I love her. Yes, we have to drink and eat a good deal, but you get used to it. I like doing lots and lots of damage, being near the top of the meters, porting around, and the synergy and safety offered by the frost tree.

I leveled a paladin to 60 and decided I hated it. That's a lot of days played I wish I could get back.

I'm working on a druid now, actually, and so far (level 21) I'm liking the variety.

Same here but I pushed mine through to 70. (24 days played DOH!!)

rogue is your obvious choice since you've already ruled out... pretty much everything else.

oh but i disagree with the hunter and warlock point of view. perhaps its just the way i play them, but those classes rock. im currently trying to learn to play a druid and its a little different. loving it too but nowhere near as fun as my hunter or lock. but again, its playstyle that makes the difference.

Heh, tell me about it. My warlock has a wonderful time fearing, dotting, and draining mobs with no downtime. Heck the only problem is sometimes I wander off and start looting corpses and such, and don't pay attention wherever my target ran off and died at, resulting in a little running around looking for the lost corpse...

My hunters... well, my beast mastery hunter is all about his big mean pet. My survival/marksmanship hunter is all about CC, roots, snares, and controlling a number of targets while doing a pretty nice amount of DPS at range or melee. Her pet being basically a glorified DoT and/or occasionally off-tanking while she mows through 5 or 6 mobs simultaneously.

I have to say that I agree with the shaman idea. Shaman are really pretty self sufficient from the get go but they do require that you stop for water breaks until you get to around lvl 40 in my experience. I leveled my shammy to 70 as enhancement and found that I could heal myself and often my party and maintain enough damage output to be wanted in groups. Once I hit 70 I have changed over to almost full resto and find that I can still solo most things just as well as I could before, still with almost no down time (thank you water shield!) and it only takes me a bit longer to kill things. Shaman can dual weild, wear mail armor at 40, and all three trees seem to be fairly useful. Also nice to have since you can respec to make yourself more attractive to guilds if you find you're having a hard time finding one to take you in with your current spec. So while they are not masters of any one thing in particular, they are a jack of all trades. Maybe you would find the variety more to your liking? Just my two cents...... Good luck!

there are times where i would be looting only to find a mob with almost zero health run up to me and start attacking. lol i would then realize it was one of my mobs who was feared and havent died yet. also, darkpact keeps me "in combat" so i often dont realize that a mob is actually still running around.

The best part about those mobs I have with my warlock is she usually has her imp out. The imp casts fire shield on me, and the mob proceeds to kill itself by touching me. Conveniently then it is easier to find the corpse to loot it....

My roommate plays a Demonology-spec warlock, and he comments all the time that I play my warlock so radically different than him. He sends his Felguard in (he lovingly calls "Jerkface" due to its polite, and considerable comments it tells him constantly), loads up dots on the mob, then uses his wand to finish the mob off. My warlock throws a set of 3 instant-cast DoTs on the mob, fears it, then throws a couple more DoTs on the mob and more or less ignores it, because 99% of the time the mob is dead before the Fear breaks. Heck, I've gone and had up to 6 different mobs running around feared and dotted up simultaneously, wasting entire villages that way... The whole time using my poor imp as nothing more than a mana battery and a free Stamina buff.

I have 2 70 rogues, a 70 shadow priest, a 61 mage, a 50 shaman, and a 25 hunter.

Below is just my opinion:

While leveling my rogue and priest at the same time, I had more chances to play my priest because she made more friends and she got requested/invited more from ppl. She hit 70 before my rogue and was doing raids for 2 months.

From level 1 to 60, my rogue got invited twice. I even questioned the inviter: “are you sure?” However, my rogue did not have much downtime and seldom died comparing to my priest.

After my rogue hit 70, I play him (PVP) more than my priest because I didn’t have time to raid 4 or 5 hours a day, 4 or 5 days a week. When a warrior and a priest ganked my shadow priest on the netherwing daily quests, my rogue proudly killed them both twice– priceless.

Currently, I am leveling a mage, a shaman and a hunter. Mage is fun due to the high DPS, AOE, polymorph, teleport, blink, water elemental pet and free food/drink. I consider my best time on my mage was doing the sheeping and AOE in AV. However, I was leveling my mage with a druid friend and I always felt bad when he had to wait for me to eat/drink after a few fights.

I stopped my Shaman at 50 because I was frustrated about the shaman’s mana thirst. I had to drink every 3 mobs or 4 if I was lucky. Water is not free. My mage can make water and she only drinks about every 6 mobs if she does not use Evocation or Mana gems. Shaman experts on Shaman’s forum told me to use bandage and not to use spells, totems and healing. I tried and I did not have to drink that often but I find a shaman not using its abilities unattractive.

I used to despise hunters because I thought they were easy, cheap and way too many. Well, it is easy to level. It’s also a challenge and thrill to fight with mobs that are 7+ levels above me using pet, traps and kiting. I know my rogue and priest could not have done that. I am sure my hunter will hit 70 before my shaman.

My suggestion would be to consider what you want to do when you reach the end game. The fact is while certain classes are easier to level then are others the time difference is minimal especially since most people now level via quest instead of grinding. Since it sounds like you want to level quickly that suggests that your goal is end game content. So what do you want to do when you hit end game? PVP? Raid? Solo? If you want to raid what would be your preferred roll: DPS, Tank, Healer? Once you have answered those questions I think you will have a much clearer idea of what class you should be.
