Considering playing Wow.

I have been playing EQ2 for a little over 2 years and have been getting pretty bored and unhappy with how it is going. So in short I was asking if WoW is much better. Blizzard customer service, gameplay etc.. Thanks for any help

If you like MMO's I'd say definitely go for it. I enjoyed it when I used to play and I'm currently considering coming back. The only reason I quit was because I just didnt have time to play anymore. And I'd say the majority of people I kno who've played EQ and WoW highly prefer WoW and have continued to play it for that very reason. Also, customer support has been very helpful and easy to deal with as far as my experiences.

As a former EQ player - and for a short time EQ2 - I would say DEFINITELY go for it.
I was convinced within about 20 minutes when I realized I was already at lvl 4 and hadn't died once. I started with a 10 day free trial and upgraded to a full account about 3 days later - haven't looked back since.

I actually had a full year of EQ paid for that I just let sit there unplayed because WOW turned out to be SO much better.

I've been playing WoW for almost a month now (I have a level 40 hunter), and I've really enjoyed it. Coming with a background of no MMO's at all, I've come to love the game. I had a few issues with my account, support was very reliable. Go for it.

Blizzard customer service vs. Sony customer service -- eh, I don't know. I had some very good experiences with both, but I'd say Sony has a slight edge there. They seem much more involved with the player community.

But you notice I play WoW instead of EQ2. And I tried EQ2 -- played it quite awhile while playing WoW. And I came back to WoW because it's just a better, friendlier game. I played EQ for four years prior to starting WoW in 2005 and haven't looked back.

WOW is definitely much better that any other online games i have played. Better look up for a better site to buy the Cd key..:wink:

Keep away from WoW!! Its awesome addictiveness will consume your life, making it difficult to improve yourself in other areas as it's more fun to play WoW! Stay away!! Don't say you haven't been warned!! :P
