Looking for tips for places to grind for gold/items to sell for gold.

My favorite place now is the SE most part of Tek Forest where the spiders roam. The Netherweb silk sells 8-9 gold each on my server and I can get 5+ per hour sitting there and killing spiders.

I also like the Shadow Tomb area in NW section of Bone Wastes. The Marks sell well and I can get a couple of Fel Armaments per hour that sell about 25G per.

I'm trying to save up for a flying mount and have 2k of the necessary 5k (so I'm told)

Last Question: I've been trying to sell the Greens I get on the AH. The Greens range from lvl 60-about 65. I'm noticing that even if I price them low, I still get about half of them back. Since the cost to auction them is 1-4G per auction, I'm not sure it's really worth it. I guess the folks that can use those items are probably getting good armor from quests since most quests in the Outlands seem to have armor for many classes as an option. Another idea is these folks are working on Epic armor and don't need greens. My question is what should I do w/ these greens that I get as loot? Selling them on the AH seems to be more of a waste of time than gold maker.

Thanks in advance

what happened to my post?
anyway... reach level 70. do quests for gold. then do dailies. you'll get your mount no time flat.

I no longer sell greens, vendor them or diss them for mats. The mats always sell & have no AH deposit.

Most greens are trash. If you enchant, disenchant them. If not, have a friend or guildie who is DE them occasionally.

But yes... you will make FAR more money at 70. NOTE: Flying mounts are NOT 5000g. The EPIC flying mounts +training skill is, but a normal flying mount plus the riding skill is only 1000g

Yes I end up vendoring most greens, though some weapons still sell well.

A lot of people harvest primals from the bog lords and withered giants in the Dead Mire near Zangarmarsh. If you are a herber you double your primals as they have just as many when you herb them as when you loot them. They sell for about 24 gold on my server and you end up with a minimum of 5 in an evening of bog lord slaying. They are easy to slay, your only problem is the competition.

I've done that too but I farmed the motes in the SW section of Zangar. I'm not a herbalist though so I don't get anything other than the regular loot.

Unless you're on my server and you're Alliance. Then you can't possibly complete the dailies in QD often enough to make much gold. Every time I go there I am ganked until I get tired of it and leave. I've only managed one decent day of questing in QD and can seldom find anyone who wants to quest there as a group. The Horde there always quest together, and that's where the trouble starts. Three or four Horde players will just attack you out of nowhere. You rez, another group comes by and same old sob story.

PvP dailies take forever because I can never complete a single WSG. The idiots take forever to complete that BG because everyone is waiting everyone else out. Just cap the stupid flag and keep moving. I don't understand the need to drag out one WSG for hours on end. It's ridiculously stupid.

sorry to hear otto. i have guildies doing dailies together, and so i can join them whenever. they usually have a set time where a group of them will go. other times, there's pug's. and lots of times, i find people "/1 lfg escort" all day long (and its never the same person asking twice).
