i've been away from wow for a few months now so i was going to update my addon's and get on again and i went to use my ui central and it won't work so came here were i got it from looking for an update or a reson and i can't find either anybody know whats up with it?

not so much 'discontinued' as 'reworked from the ground up'.

Supposedly they are on their way to having a replacement soon...

Its taking quite awell, I'm aware of people need there time for other things but as far as just updateing mods i dont see why its taking so long (Searching a cataloges all take extra time i know). I wrote an updater with VB in a couple hours that works with all 4 mains sites i use here, Wowinterface, WowAce, Curse. So i just cant justify the time lenght its taking.


Anyway hoping its good. and not like the last thing they put out wasnt a fan of that at all. UI 3 was the best one yet i think i dont really know why they just didnt stick with that. But I'm hoping it works good and looks good else ill just use what i got now.

the uploader that the devs here are making will do more than just update your mods + they gotta make it look pretty.

Lothar is correct we are adding stuff in more than just mod updating, think of it as complete management. Dev progress is giong well and as soon as we have a Beta ready we will get it out there.

Hey, guys! We really need to update our addons. We understand and appreciate a lot that u're adding more stuff but, PLEASE, release a beta with, at least, the addons update thing. :wave:

Just get a 3rd party updater. I personally use WoWMatrix and have no real complaints other than no display for change logs. Aside from that, it checks ALL the mod sites and updates the latest version found from all of them. No trojans, no viruses. Been using for months now. :grin:
