Good areas for level 37 would be Stranglethorn Vale and Desolace. If you have skinning, you'll want to be in Stranglethorn Vale because of the skinnable beasties that you'll find in abundance there (heck, there's even a safari camp with quests wanting you to kill lots and lots of them).

It helps to know where you have been....STV and desolace might be too low. My 38 is in Arathi Highlands, killing raptors and such.

Dustwallow Marsh is also a good place for your 37.

STV's good until 45... I doubt that it is "too low" :P

My bad....I meant "too low" to mainly refer to the first set of quest lines there.

Unless I am missing an area you might be talking about, STV is not at all continuously doable as a questing area (sure...you can grind all of the way, if you wish) from 30ish upwards through the range you suggest. Taking into account being efficient, there is a big break between 35 and around 42ish.

If you don't care about efficiency, by all means go do STV throughout the entire range. :)

On both Horde and Alliance, I have leveled from about level 30-32 or so up through 45 or so, doing quests, not grinding... You must be missing an area...

I've leveled 5 characters through STV now, 3 Horde, 2 Alliance.

There's other areas to, truth be told, but STV is best when used as a bridge between those levels in that range you run out of quests in other zones for...

at 37, you should be able to do the first half Hemet Nessingwary Jr's quest lines. and pretty much all the quests around the horde base (kill cats, kill water elemental, kill trolls for necklace and horns, kill more trolls) there and a bunch from booty bay.

dont forget shimmering flats. there's a bunch of quests there that will take you all over the area. also desolace quests along the shore. just ignore the gelkis/mangram rep grind. its useless.

You are probably right that I am missing them.....I have a very high efficiency though, which you may not have. I do low 30's in stv, them move elsewhere for a bit, to come back and be able to plow through move in STV that are 40+. I get a quite high dps/xp ratio that way.

Out of curiosity, what is your leveling speed to 20? 40? 60? 70?

I really don't bother with tracking my leveling speed. I play WoW as a way to unwind from work, school, etc. I don't play it to beat some speed records. People tell me I level quickly, but I don't tend to think so, I play strictly for enjoyment and relaxation.

Sounds like the progression from James' leveling guide to me

The quests in Mudsprocket in Dustwallow Marsh are good for that range. They're quick, and you get a good amount of xp from the mobs killed & from turning in the quests. As an added bonus...it's not STV...I really do hate that place.
