Battleground Help

I'm just wondering how you get to fight alliance/horde during the game. Are there any requirements? Or is it just simply traveling somewhere? And can you do it with trial accounts? (I know, lmfao but im getting the game in about 1 hour :grin: ) Thanks for all of your help and suggestions as they are much appricated!

Start on a PVP server if you want to do "world PVP" where you can kill or be killed anytime. You can also do things called Battlegrounds where a team of horde battle a team of alliance.

Yes, you can do battlegrounds on PVE.

on PVE server, outside battlegrounds, you can enter/exit PvP mode by turning on/off PvP flag. If you see the opposite faction displayed as yellow color name tag that means he/she has the PvP flag on. You can choose to attack at that point and it automatically puts you in PvP mode (you'll see the enemy's name will turn red).

Yes, and you can participate in world PvP on a Normal or RP server as well. Despite what some people may say to the otherwise, the "Normal" or "RP" servers do have world pvp, they are not really "PvE" servers in the strictest sense. Most of the time though, it is Battlegrounds of Arenas people will play in, but I actually just was part of a pretty large fight in northern Terrokar Forest on my server the other day...
