Gems Help!

Im gearing a character now and adding some shoulders. While attempting to add a gem to a red slot some of the gems ive equipped before arent showing up this time on the dropdown box. For example, if i try to put a Reckless Ryrestone into a red slot on Amice of the Convoker it doesnt show up as one of the choices. Can anyone tell me what is goinzon?

Kalos - Are you sure? I'm wondering if he meant that he's playing with the character features in WoWdigger vs ingame. There's no dropdown in the ingame socketing interface
