What class is best suited...

Hi. I'm deciding to reroll on a PvP server as a Night Elf. The one thing is I can't decide what class to choose from. I used to play as a hunter, which I enjoyed, apart from their melee suckes quite bad.

I've heard that Night Elf druids are quite good, and I also thought about making him a rouge. Just wondering though, what class is best suited a Night Elf.

The things I mostly will be doing is raids, battlegrounds and arena. All suggestions and comments are most welcome.

Rogue is a good bet also, they have improved stealth because of the racial trait.

All the classes are good. Shadowmeld is a very nice skill in PvP for all classes but rogue. Druid, Warrior, Priest and Rogue are all great classes tho!
I would go with another race if i was rolling a rogue but thats just me..

NE is perfect for a rogue in PVP - for world PVP a subtlety rogue can get the drop on just about anyone and that extra skill level in stealth you get as a NE really makes the class shine.

FYI, my hunter's melee is more the opposite of sucking. Well, one of my two hunters. It is all in how you gear up, spec out, and play your character...

lol. It hasn't been 5899 posts... At most, it's been maybe 5000 posts. There needs to be some room for other discussion :wink:

Still, my suggestion about the guide remains valid. It'd help ppl who want to follow in your footsteps and go the Way of the Solo Survival-Hunter (or SSH :tongue:).

I agree. I remember reading one of Xloreps posts about a massive fight he was in where he took on an incredible number of mobs and walked away - it was a pretty interesting read. A full guide would be an awesome addition.

I dunno, I might be able to whip something together... I'm pretty bad at making guides though... I guess it would have to be the full deal though. With that character, it isn't just the talent build, there's the macro set I use with her, there's the pets I picked for her, and her profession.... Kind of a full picture for the character. Everything more or less molded around a concept I had, and I play out.

Let me get through Finals Week this week, and then I'll be incommunicado next week since I'm going to be taking a trip on the USS Nimitz w/ my little brother (who is stationed on it). Then I'll see if I can whip something together.
