Sorry if this is against the rules of the forums, I apologize in advance. I just want to know if any body has used this guide.
I was looking around the net to look for some good guides to make good gold, and came up across SNIPSNIP Now I'm not sure if this works or not.
So if somebody could tell me if they've used it before, or have heard anything about it, that would be great.
Thanks a lot, and once again, I apologize if I'm breaking any rules here.

To be quite honest, I'm tempted by it as well. He really makes it sound so easy, and with the low dollar price this is very affordable (especially if I split the cost with my boyfriend and we both benefit from it). But I don't know. It seems too good to be true, and I keep wondering where the catch is.

the catch is that it costs $37 and that there will be no big secrets that you don't know already. The only difference is the shiny marketing
just my $0.02

ps - I liked the bit about the gold sellers though :-)

My apologies for the edit, but it was necessary to be compliant with the forum rules. Such sites are generally dodgy, and most of the information such guides contain are taken from forums and databases anyhow. I'd recommend taking a look through this thread to get a good method of making gold: http://www.worldofwar.net/forums/showthread.php?t=398599 What's more, it's free and it used to work a treat for my alts. I once over the entire Bronze market and quadrupled prices, most of the bars didn't sell but those that did got more gold back than what I had spent, plus an extra 200+ bars for my trouble. Even selling those on at the normal average price brought in a fortune. I was a level 19 rogue with enough gold to buy the level 40 riding skill

Mmyeah, but that thread only mentions playing the AH. Not only is that old news, it also bores me easily. That's what I found rather attracting in the guide posted; how to make gold with things like fishing, or going to certain areas to kill mobs, or whatever - that'd give me a change of pace.

Another old trick of mine was a group thing. Three of us, rogue-paladin-warrior, all at level 60 at the time, cruising around Tyr's Hand for drops. Making about 20 gold an hour each. Perhaps not the best way today, but back then there was none finer.

i've seen some gold guides. a lot of them focus on solo play. and a lot of them gather info that's already been advised somewhere on the internet.

One of my former guildies made a small fortune at lvl 35 by solo running deadmines and selling the drops. I have made my fortune by playing the AH and I started with the gold making guide from right here in these forums.
I bought a guide once and it was the biggest waste of money I have seen in many years.
Check the forums = both the guides section here and the profession forums here included = and you will find a lot of ideas on how to make gold.

Scan these forums here. These guys are the best. I've played 2, maybe 3 months and have bought all my mounts and riding skills except epic flying. I have 3300/5k on it and made about 500 gold over the weekend (plus have 3-400g in sellable items on AH). I've also bought my extra bank and stable slots to the max and got all my bags to 16 slots.
If you want tips to making gold, post your class and alliance/horde info here and I'm sure you'll get plenty of advice.
At lower levels, I made lots of gold selling Wool on the AH. Linen sells but I found wool to be one of the best item sellers.
Upgrade your bags before you worry about making gold.
Skinning skinning skinning. Herbalism and Mining are also profitable but herbalism doesn't seem to be very profitable to me until you get to higher levels.
Once you get to skinning heavy leather, thick leather and above, you'll make a killing.
I play the AH a little but mainly only on leathers since I understand them the most. You'll need to watch prices for a couple of weeks and find the low price and the high price (the lowest price when leathers are selling high). For instance, many times on the weekends, I can find thick leather selling on AH for 3-3.5g per 20 stack. I also know that in midweek, there are less farmers and the lowest price on a stack will be around 5g, maybe more. It doesn't always go down in mid week. I have to be willing to hold onto them if necessary.
Don't buy anything unless you can make a minimum of 1g on it. On Rugged Leather, I can find it many times on the weekends at 10-11g per 20 stack and during the week, it will sell quickly and easily at 14-15+ per 20 stack.
Once you get to shatt, you can farm the spiders for netherweb silk (you can also get this off of other spiders in Western Plaguelands and probably other places). Netherweb sells for 7g-8g per silk and in the right place (SE corner of Terokk Forest), you can get 8-10 silk in an hour if no farming competition.
You can also farm marks and fel armaments in all sections of Outlands. These also don't have any AH costs to sell. Fel Armaments sell 25+ gold per on my server.
You also get lucky from time to time. I was questing in Ungro Crater (my favorite zone of all before Outlands) and got a random epic drop that I sold for close to 200g. I also got rare random blue drops in instances that sell for 20g+ almost no matter the level.
Bottom Line. Play the game and learn to use the AH. I was skeptical of the AH at first but wow, it has changed my experience for sure.

You can have my gold making guide for free if you'd like.
Get yourself to level 5. Head to the nearest big city for your faction, and pick up skinning & mining. Buy a mining pick & skinning knife, and upgrade to the biggest bags you can afford asap. Then go about your business...questing, leveling, running instances, etc. Skin every animal you kill (or ones that are laying around dead), and mine every node you come across. Sell the leather & metal bars on the AH. That's what I've always done, and I've never had a shortage of gold to buy mounts or gear.
