View Full Version : What to do with old mounts?

Yes,

I was one of the dumb ones. I bought 2 of the level 40 mounts before I realized you could trade em. Now I have 2 taking up my bankspace. Since I have my normal flying mount and lvl 60 land mount, I don't have any use for the 40s. What do I do with em. I haven't found that I can sell them or transfer them. I hate to just trash them.

Stash em or trash em.

I have on rare occasions used my L40 mount when questing with lower level friends, that way we we run at the same speed. (but that was with my pali, no extra bag space :-) )

i too still have my 40 mount although its collecting dust in the bank as i have my normal flying my Swift Mistsaber, Great Blue Elekk, Swift White Steed, Swift Brewfest Ram and Winterspring Frostsaber all in my bags :).

even at level 68... im using my level 40 mount. lol



i have my dreadsteed mats and everything too! hehe just havent had the time to run dm.

You carry them all in your bag until you find you find someone else with lots of mounts and then you have fun changing mounts in front of each other. Did this with a BE in Un'goro recently. She had more, lol. Currently have 2 lvl 40s and 2 lvl 60's, almost have a swift NE cat and almost have the Talbuk. I cannot trash my faithful steeds. I was so happy when I got my Black Stallion and my gnome still looks cute on it.. trashing it would hurt.

I've invested in big bags.

My alt is not doing the mount thing though, it's one mount for her LOL

If my gnome ever gets to L70 I'm getting him an Elek.

The Elekk is next on my list for my gnome. I got her Peanut during children's week in anticipation of riding an Elekk with peanut behind me.

I guess the too many mounts problem is different if you've just bought every variety of your racial mount so have too many cats clogging your bags. I can see why this would be a problem. But when you've rep grinded for maaaaaaaaaaaany weeks to get a mount you don't think about the bag space.
