Hi.
I was wondering if someone could be able to assist me in creating a "stance dance" macro for my prot Warr.
I am a complete newb when it comes to macro's, and the only thing ive manage to come up with is this:
1 (in my def stance bar)
/cast Berserker Stance
/cast Berserker Rage
2 (in my berserker stance bar )
/cast Defensive stance
What i'm looking for is a macro that does the same as the two above, but as a one button macro.
Its not really that hard to double click 1 and 2, but i'd rather just hit one button and save some space on my berserker stance bar.

/castsequence [stance:2] Berserker Stance, Rage; Defensive Stance
if you're in defensive stance, it will cast berserker, then rage, otherwise, it will case defensive stance. not sure if it works, try it.
or try this if the above doesnt work:
/cast [nostance:3] Berserker Stance; Rage
/cast [nostance:2] Defensive Stance
this macro basically goes... if you're not in battle stance, cast battle stance, then rage. then casts defensive stance. if you're already in berserker stance, it will cast rage. then defensive stance.
i think. lol
And... here's one that will cycle through all three stances.
/cast [stance:3] Battle Stance; [stance:2] Bezerker Stance; [stance:1] Defensive Stance
it will cycle through your stances in this order: Battle, Defensive, Zerker, Battle, Defensive, zerker, battle, defensive, zerker.

Ty fir the tips.
Haven't had the time to try em out yet, but the problem i had (and the reason i had to split them into 2 separate macro's) was because of the cooldown on stance changing.
Do you know if your macro will have this problem?

You'll have to press the button twice, there's no way to change stance twice with one button press due to the global cooldown (as you say).

cooldowns will always be there, cant bypass it. i dont understand your question really.

ok. what i was thinking was that maybe there was a way to make the macro wait for 3sec.
like this:
/cast berserker stance
/cast berserker rage
/wait 3 seconds
/cast defensive stance
And yeah, i know its not a real macro command:)
Sorry for failing at getting my real question across

oh no. you cant do that. macros dont do anything on a timer. you need to press the button again yourself after a few seconds. you cant just press it once and have it do everything for you.
or.... just spam the button.

#show Berserker Rage
/cast [stance:3] Berserker Rage; Berserker Stance
/cast [noequipped:shields] Battle Stance; Defensive Stance
works nice for me..
if im pvp or in a dps mode it wont switch u back to defensive but will switch u back to defensive stance with one more click IF you have a shield equiped
