Raid: What I miss and need

I raided Karazhan for the first time the other day and learned a few things I needed, to make it more doable in there:


Spells: Time left on Renew, Shackle etc so I don't have to click each mob and player.
Temporary save a target, either player to be healed or mob to be shackled, so I get their portrait by themselves somewhere on the screen. Found it hard to target the shackle mob in a fight, gets dangerous.


Do these mods exist? :)

Grab a decent unit frame mod like Pitbull. The first is just a case of having buffs/debuffs showing on your frames and the second you can achieve by using your focus target and having Pitbull (or whatever) show the focus frame.

The focus target is actually built into the client but you won't get a bar for it without a mod. You can set your focus keybindings in the client keybinding menu.

ok you can achieve all this with X-Perl (http://wowui.worldofwar.net/?p=mod&m=2855) just go through the options and set it up make sure you dont forget the focus frame.

2nd use this macro...

#showtooltip Shackle Undead
/clearfocus [modifier:alt][target=focus,dead][target=focus,help][target=focus,noexists]
/focus [target=focus,noexists]
/cast [target=focus]Shackle Undead

... it will help with casting your Shackles and keeping the target shackled.

Thank you :) I read it ages ago but forgot the kind thing was to reply. I use that macro now, testing it tomorrow in Kara, and I use X Perl and am satisfied with that.
