having trouble with Mik's battle text

I can't figure out how to get it to display when some of my cooldowns are refreshed, such as my pet's Spell Lock and my PvP trinket.

I have it, the problem is I'm trying to find a CD addon that will specifically track:

1. my CD's,
2. my pet CD's and
3. also flash a text messege onscreen when they become ready.

I know for sure that one exists because I've seen it in use in Heidiheinken's destrolock video (a text messege displays right on screen that says "Spell lock ready!" etc). So far across several website forums I've had zero luck trying to figure out what will do all the above functions.

Mik's will flash the onscreen messege but not for my fellhunter's CD's (nor my trinket)
OmniCC will track the pet CD's and my trinket but no onscreen messege. I know there's one that does both, just can't find the darn thing and I've been hunting all week with no luck so far

Parrot used to do this but I'm not 100% if this part is functional again since 2.4 You could check it out though.

I use either Cooldown HUD or Jim's Cooldown Pulse

no luck with any of those, all are extremely outdated. Anyone other ideas?
