Does anyone have this yet, and if so what are your thoughts on it?

I've read what it says that it does and I have to say from a PvP point of view it looks pretty good. I esp. like the fact that it can be triggered via melee OR damaging spells and the cost is relatively cheap (2 Primal Water 2 Primal Shadow). As a lock I wonder if each DoT tick has a chance of triggering the effect, is so that would be great (but also Imba...)

It now drops from the seasonal Boss Ahune. Our Retri Pally is gonna test it tonight in raid....

Yeah, I first saw the pattern listed on his loot table in the News section. The quest to summon him I guess is daily and I wasted mine earlier in a bad pug, but Im going to keep queing and trying to kill until I get the enchant and try for the Staff as well.

Any idea what level enchanting is needed? Im guessing 375...(cant check here at work)

We've had a lot of debate about this in guild as a tanking enchant. The eventual conclusion is "no, it's more for pvp". Points that came up:

- It's a mini-thunderclap, a mini-CoT/MNPoision, and a little extra damage all in one.
- The slowing effects don't stack with thunderclap or CoT/MNPoision, consequently for a raid you're better off having a warrior / lock / rogue apply those.
- Paladins won't want to lose +40 spellpower; bears can't proc it; warriors tell me they'd rather have mongoose (not sure if any of our warriors have done the maths, or whether they're being conservative - but they're the ones who would benefit least anyway since they already have thunderclap).

I can see a very situational use for a tankadin on a secondary weapon where they're going all-out for damage reduction rather than threat, but this would be pretty rare.
I can also see it being handy for struggling-on-gear tanks in 5-mans where the other debuffing classes aren't available - especially for paladins (again) who don't have Thunderclap available. Less useful now that heroics have been nerfed so much, admittedly.

The only other possiblity is if it can proc off Consecration ticks, which would suddenly make it an amazing enchant for paladins - but this seems unlikely.

That'd be 350.
