View Full Version : Questing too fast?

So right now my main is a 70 Undead mage. Since the group of 5 I normally run with only have one tank (naturally), when he was offline it made it very hard for us to get a Heroic run in. So I "took one for the team" and decided to level a Pally tank to use when he was offline.
Here is my issue. We all have 70 mains. So when I hit the OL my girlfirend who has a 70 hunter came around with me and helped me complete quests. I just finished off Nagrand last night and I am 1/2 thru 65. I went up to Blades Edge Mountains but only found 3-4 quests that I can do. Have I quested too fast being "run thru" everything by my girlfriend? Has anyone else run into this situation where you have pretty much run out of quests? Any suggestions on what I should do?

lol yes my guild friend had this problem recently. Other members ran him through much of the early 40s content & then he was stuck with all red quests in Tanaris that he could not solo. Instance runs are probably the best plan, one ding can make a big difference.
As its Fire Festival, doing all those quests should provide you with plenty of XP (3% per own faction fire, and 6% for opposing faction...with over 60 fires, that is alot of XP. Although 3% was with my level 33 alt, not sure it scales the same at your level.

BEM quests starts on the western side of things (FP south west in BEM). I think you need to be lvl 66 to get most of them there. Once you complete the 10-12 quests in that area, they send you to the next FP in BEM where all the gnomes are.
I'm surprized your only lvl 65 completing all the quests in Nagrand - this is assuming you've compeleted all the quests in HFP, ZM, Tekk Forest???
Humm...from experience it is more the 11k per quest turn in that levels me than the xp from kills. Plus you being 65 and your GF 70 shouldn't hurt your XP THAT much.
Maybe you just missed out some quests, but other than that I try and only get help from 70s for elite quests....

just do some faction grinds.
signets, marks, feathers, tendrils, eyes/sacs to sell.

dusts, beads, unidentified plants, nexius thingys just to add some more.
Could also grind out exp easily in Silthius/EPL/WPL.

just dont do the sporeggar's "now that we are still friends..." quest. it will give faction rep, but no bonus exp.

just the bat! but now the shatari skyguard has a bat too. or was it the shatar?
anyway... rep grinding might net you some good gear and some nice enchants on head/shoulder slots and tanking gear.

Thanks for the responses guys. There were more quests in other areas of BEM and the ones that I had in BEM turned into questlines. I hit 66 and am still in BEM questing.....alone for now. I did go back to Nagrand and picked up some more quests there that opened up at 66. So I guess leveling with a 70 isn't bad as long as you go back and get the quests that you might have "missed" because of level requirements.

did you go to every town in azeroth/outlands to desecrate/honor their flame? do it. its a whole level's worth of exp, plus gold. and stealing the flames of the major cities will net you more exp. but some are best done with stealth or groups.

The XP for the flame quests doesn't scale that well. It was two full levels for my lvl 53 (was 56 before I got done), but my 63 didn't even ding.
