Axe skill stuck

I had an axe until recently and the axe skill got to 64 and stayed there. (I'm a lvl 70 hunter). Recently I got a pole arm and because I hadn't used a pole arm much before It went rapidly through the 100s to the 200s and is not at 345. My sword skill is up in the 300s. Why would my axe skill be apparently stuck at 64?

is it a 2 hand axe you're using to try to skill up 1 hand axe? maybe that's it.

That's it. Duh! I just saw the axe line and didn't scroll down to see that there's a 2 handed axe catagory...which is maxed out already. :lipsrsealed: Thanx.

Oh well, live and learn. I once went into a bg and forgot to unequip my fishing pole. Realised halfway through. :thumbsup:

Oh and how's the pve grinding with AoV working out for you now? ;)

Thanx for asking, it's doing okay, but I'm still thinking of going back to BM, this time with a comprehensive selection of abilities.

Fair enough, that's what I love about this game, there are many ways to play a hunter well. It really comes down to individual preference. :)

Heh, brilliant. I once ran a heroic with my Multiphase Survey goggles equipped - only I didn't find out until after I was back in Shat. Hrm.
