Why am I feeding the troll?

1. I'm pretty sure Kalgan plays a warrior
2. I don't see anything earthshaking in there for locks (my main is a lock so I'm very observant on those things)

He did, but i believe Kalgans new charecter in the game is a mage, and hes buddies charecter is a warlock, wich pretty much explains this;

-Frost Armor, Ice Armor, Mage Armor, and Molten Armor are no longer Magic effects and cannot be dispelled.

-Demon Skin, Demon Armor, and Fel Armor are no longer Magic effects and cannot be dispelled"

I can certainly read but to be honest I'm more excited about making the resistance debuffs a single curse (curse of elements + curse of shadow) than making my demon skin/armor non-magic. If he's a mage wouldn't he want EVERYTHING dispellable?

Oh, Geesh. I was so hopeful that when so much time passed with no answer to this that we were gonna <cricket> Net.

Net loves to bellyache. Everything is a drama production, with the WoW world revolving around it. (Why does everyone use the female pronoun in referring to it? I'm vaguely insulted.) After enough people slam the current thread, it will merely start another one.

Net, quite bluntly, if you were the instance god you claim to be, you would see every buff to the other classes as a buff to YOU. The better your team mates are, the better the raid is, the better your gear becomes, the better you are. This entire me versus the other classes is a pvp mindset. So... Locks are getting buffed. Great. Their self buffed armor can not longer be dispelled? About time. Maybe now I won't have to heal them as much. Maybe now they'll survive banish pulls.

Sometimes what looks like a buff is actually a nerf and and sometimes nerfs turn out to be buffs.

If nothing ever changed then people would complain about that too.

Arena is pvp. Reread what I said, and the acronym PVE should jump out of the page. I have always posted responses to you based on what I am, as a resto raiding shaman, which is what you've led me to believe you were grooming your shaman for. I hate to say this, but often raiding toons are not good at pvp. Spec, gear, the mentality of the player with them all play a role in pvp viability. There is a reason why resto shamans are not highly desired for arena teams, our platform is mass burst healing on multiple melee targets. There are class/spec combinations which excel at pvp. We are not truly one of them. And no, I don't believe we should be changed to be better arena pvp healers. If you don't like your shaman, then play something else more to your liking, or do what many do, cultivate a raiding toon and cultivate an arena toon. When I get tired of being everybody's go to healer, I go dps nuts on my shadow priest and gleefully refuse to heal. You are not locked to only one toon, this is not an either or situation.

for a person that's never been to outlands, barely know how to gear (besides shamans wear mail), and doesnt seem to understand much about pvp or pve, he sure has a lot to say about everything.

seems to me that net's character must be unkillable, and anyone that uses anything to annoy and kill her character is being unfair.

Wheres the priest love? why have all the other caster armor buffs become non dispellable except Inner fire? Will it ever lose its charges which were there originally to penalise us for increased armor and no longer giving attack power bonus? Who knows :)

You could always PRAY real hard that Kalgan starts playing a priest...or roll Warlock/Mage:shocked:

Not entirely certain who Kalgan is, but I'm gonna guess from the hatred that Net views him with that he is a developer. I'm gonna make the obvious statement here: I'll bet he plays a priest. I'll bet he plays a shaman. I'll bet Mr. Developer type who has the influence and name recognition that Net so desperately desires has played pretty much EVERY class and EVERY race. If this was my job, I would. I have people in my guild who have 6 lvl 70's SSC/TK ready, so.... I'm guessing this guy does too (It's his job.) This is not my job and I have played multiple classes and races.
