Alright I live in the Bahamas and I don't think we have any store retailers on this island that I am on. I tried using my credit card but it keeps saying that the number is invalid.

So i was wondering if i purchased the game from Direct2Drive will i get the authentication key for full account to make a full account no restrictions. Or if there are any other trusted sites that I can purchase online which would give me the full account authentication key.

I don't even know what a "Direct2Drive" is. But I'd recommend getting it from Blizzard. You might need to contact Blizzard to find out how to get the game.

buy it directly from the official site. you dont need the box, just the download and the auth key and you're golden.

you can use Paypal to pay for subscription time and possibly other things from the site.

The credit card isn't working, I'll have to make a paypal account. What other options are there?

They'll need a credit card account to verify who you are (i know, of all things, a credit card). but you dont have to use it as your source of payment for subscription. do you have an ATM checkcard? that will work too.

and why is your card invalid? is it the type of card? have they told you? maybe you should call them about this.

You can buy the game from anywhere.. Amazon, etc. As long as it's a new box (not a return etc) you'll be fine. Once you install the game you then need to create an account and setup some way to pay. You can pay via credit card (which isn't working for you sadly) or via game cards, etc. See the Account section on the worldofwarcraft.com site for those options.

You see, the problem is you need a valid credit card to be able to set up your account. That is, a credit card that Blizzard accepts. You may very well need to contact Blizzard directly and ask what your options are. This is because you need a credit card they accept to be able to validate your account. To be able to validate your account, Blizzard needs to accept your credit card, and if Blizzard isn't accepting your credit card, you need to contact Blizzard to find out what you need to do. Nobody here really can help you, only Blizzard's accounts & billing department can.

Is that clear enough yet?

Yea but I used that credit card last time when i upgraded my account so they should accept it.

If Blizzard isn't accepting your card, Blizzard isn't accepting your card. If Blizzard is accepting your card, then Blizzard is accepting your card. You are confusing yourself here. You just said Blizzard isn't accepting your card, but then turn around and say they will (sorry, should). All in all, it still boils down to contacting Blizzard, if you are having problems like this. Contact Blizzard, find out what's up, and move on with life. Or sit here and ask questions nobody here has the authority to be able to answer, and waste time. Your choice.

whoa wait... you've already used the credit card to upgrade? so what are you trying to buy then?

if you're going to open a new account using the same creadit card you've used before, this might not work. so you might want to call bliz. i know there are people with multiple accounts, but i dont know if they had to use a different credit card for each account open, or if they can have several auth codes for different accounts but still use the same credit card.

i think i see your problem. but i think the only people who can help you right now is bliz since this isnt something that's done too often, even online. (one credit card and multiple accounts)

I know from personal experience that 1 credit card with 2 accounts is fine. The credit card doesn't even need to be for the person who is the owner of the account. However, if there was a problem with the old account that got it permanently banned/locked, Blizz might have suspended access for that credit card too. Once again, if he OP would contact Blizzard he'd know for sure what to do.

It could be as simple as the expiry date on the card, check that it isn't using the old expiry date or something.

Are you sure it's a credit card? Are you sure it's not... nothing?
