40+ Zones

Just hit 40, eagerly waiting to leave stv, I have no idea where I should go lvl. I'm a alliance, I have my mount, and I'm fine with grinding if there is a good spot.

I just want a new place to lvl, Im checking out hinterlands soon, i already checked out tanaris and i didnt really like it, feralas didnt have a flight point so that turned me down, not sure where else i can go.

dustwallow 35-45, feralas 40-50 "2 flight paths for alliance, one on thousand needles side and other with quest on a island by the sea", tanaris 40-50, and the hinterlands 40-50.

tanaris is probably the best bet as it contains Zul'Farak which has some good quests and lots of scarabs to kill.

Stranglethorn Vale(You've done already)
The Badlands(35-45)
Swamp of Sorrows(35-45)
Dustwallow Marsh(35-45)
Feralas(40-50)
Tanaris(40-50)

When I was around your level I kept on going back and forth between these locations, as well as doing Zul'Farak and Maraudon;)!

I spent a lot of time in Tanaris/Zul'Farrak from 40-50. Good spot.
