This is world of warcraft place, and your problem is warcraft3. So would suggest posting http://war3.incgamers.com/

Anyways, this seems to be installer problem. There can be two things:

1 - With reference to regsvr32 ... seems to be a registry problem. I am not an expert in that :( so I will not advise anything on this.

1 - With reference to this ....

(C:\temp\020606lockit\installer\source\procs.cpp:9 0)

.cpp means its a file containing C++ code and at line 9 the application is trying to open a file and cannot find that particular file. Go the directory, open the procs.cpp in notepad and see what's at line number 9 there. Should be able to point you out what's causing the problem in my opinion.

You haven't listed a graphics card, so I assume it's cheap onboard. Basically, you don't have enough memory. Warcraft 3 likes 512 MB, more is better under XP, but that's the level it should cope fine with. Could be something else, but 256 MB really isn't enough.

FYI, there was no c:\temp folder found in my drive C.

Run the installer again, and when the error message popsup ... instead of pressing OK or any other button, go to your C drive and look for the folder.

The folder is created temporarily and is removed when the installer closes. So if you are looking when the installer is not working, you will never find it there.
