View Full Version : Google warns of issues with WoW Radio site
I listen to the podcasts from WoW Radio and when I tried to search for it on Google it is listed on possibly having spyware/malware. First time I've seen this warning. Just a heads up.

You know I love WC radio, its great. But why take the risk? Just the get the downloads from iTunes. WoWInsider and WoW things considered are great shows.

As many of you will have noticed, specifically those using Firefox 3 or getting here via Google, WoW Radio has been flagged as an 'attack' site. Basically what happened was, a hacker attempted to insert malicious code into our forums sometime last week. He was quickly headed off and as far as we know, nobody was infected. However, in a stroke of fabulous bad luck, Google was scanning our site at the time for malware, as they do every now and again, and flagged us. We can assure you that there are NO trojans or malicious software on our site at all, and we have already submitting a petition to Google for removal from their blacklist. Until that is approved, we ask for your patience. The attack message can be bypassed by using another browser or previous version of Firefox. Please let your friends know what has happened, and thanks for your patience and understanding in this matter.
