Noticed a lot of people are having the same problem. I've been running the Europe free trial for the past couple of days and everything has been fine untill the update. I realise a lot of other people have had similar problems, but I'm another in slightly different conditions, so thought I'd put it out there.
I'm using windows XP and am recieving the following message with the euUK trial version:

I'm using adminastrative rights, I've tried it in safe mode with networking, but that didn't work. I tried unchecking "read only" but that didn't work either. What's funny is that the US trial worked all the way up to the point where you download your race and it crashed.
Any info would be apprciated, kind of dissapointing to be offered "10 days" to play the game, and not only miss out on time but have the whole trial messed up because of it. Even if you don't have a solution, insight into what might be going on is more than welcome.
